For a good while now I've considered us to be one of the worst 3 teams in the league, and therefore have been expecting relegation. But I do think we have a chance of surviving too however unlikely that seems to me right now.

Looking at our remaining fixtures we have no chance. To stay up you have to at least take points off the teams around you. We have failed miserably at doing that.

Think we've got the most favourable fixture next weekend out of those around us. No formality obviously but could hopefully be a good weekend for us.

We've won 3 vs those teams and drawn 3.
Yes, 3 wins, 3 draws, 5 defeats.

I seem to have eradicated so much of the early Lampard era from my memory for some reason - and that wasn't even the worst part.

We need to balance that record up against our direct rivals before the end of the season or it is curtains. Annoyingly, we only have Bournemouth at home. We are away at Wolves and Leicester, so the omens are not good.

Thing about this season is the bottom two are right in with a chance, we aren’t just looking at the dross in and around us, a little 3 game winning streak for Southampton for example could be fatal. Going to be squeaky bum time as they say.

Still for a team that’s down near us that’s a solid home record isn’t it. They obviously have a team that doesn’t lie down at home, look how they came back v city.

The frustration is that it would be seen as a decent point in any vaguely competent season - unfortunately though we just haven’t got any leeway and I agree that it’s two points dropped for us.

Being in the relegation zone having played one game more is horrendous.

Brentford. Chelsea. Spurs. Utd next. We are now in a position where we have to be targeting the home games v Brentford and spurs as must wins or it’s pretty much curtains.

There’s an ominous feeling growing that this will be the season we run out of miracles. I understand some people wanting to be positive but I have to admit I’ve lost any hope I had after villa and arsenal.
Careful now, the cool kids will be on you for having an opinion and will mention Leeds getting top four or something…

It’s absolutely normal to be worrying about our predicament, yes the teams around us are crap, but so are we. 5 wins in 26 speaks for itself.
