For a game like Brentford I fear it will be exactly the opposite - fan expectation will just build tension and our flakey team will implode
Feels like both are poossible.

Big picture of Tony Kay as background wallpaper on the big screensThe hype Brentford are getting right now. Unbelievable.
The facts are that they have a midtable team who are only midtable by virtue of the fact that the authorities are allowing them to play all season long a player who should be nowhere near a football pitch. A player who's admitted breaking the game's rules but is just allowed to take the piss and play on.
For that reason it'll be all the more sweeter to beat these on Saturday.
Because we'll stay up and Brentford, being Brentford, will eventually disappear back to where they belong. Why on earth do you suspect that?
Supercomputer says Everton has a 56% chance of being relegated.
Erm no mate lol
Still good enough for your pal Hickey to go and play for though. What a strange comment. You either think we're down this season or you think if we survive we wont outlast Brentford Dog & Duck FC as a PL club?
We need to get him here one day.Still good enough for your pal Hickey to go and play for though.

There’s 12 games to go and we are in the bottom 3 and they’re basically mathematically safe.
I'm not saying they'll go this season, obviously.
He isn't leaving Brentford to come here mate, he is only just getting a run in the team now. We do need to replace whatever Mykolenko is though I fully agree, utter pony and nowhere near good enough. There will be changes either way in the summer, major ones if we go down obviously and if we do stay up I think Dyche is going to have to up the ante a little bit if we want to avoid this again next season. Quicker full backs, quicker wingers, a good front man and someone in behind who can be the creative link between midfield and attack. We need to get him here one day.
I dont think you're paying attention. Since Dyche arrived the form guide shows he's got us into almost mid-table territory (13th). If we keep on that path we'll get 36 points. But I think we can do better as we've had 3 of those 6 games of Dyches against Liverpool and Arsenal...with two away. But it’s looking increasingly likely with every week that goes by that we will.
Next season we'll have forwards. Just that will make the difference. But we do need the two FBs sorted. He isn't leaving Brentford to come here mate, he is only just getting a run in the team now.
