It's quite a scary time right now. Brentford will be very hard to beat. Hopefully the fans can spur the team on.

Hello, supporter for 65 years here, I don't say much on this forum. I do feel qualified to have my say. I did post back in November that Lampard should be sacked. My view now is that we should concentrate on our points per games. Under Dyche we have plus one points over the six games played, which is progress. If we can continue at this same rate until the end of the season we will end up with exactly 36 points (2 more sets of six games to go = 2x(6+1) = 22 so far plus a further 14 = 36). This may just be enough. One could argue that we have had the new manager bounce, but I think we actually are making progress under Dyche. Please all Everton fans we need your passionate support, even if we go a goal down in matches. Do not lose hope.
Well said lads. There is a reason why we have been around the bottom 6 most of the season, we are a poor team. The very same applies to all the other teams in and around the bottom 6. I see people on here agonising over where the points will come from and will we need 40 points or 36 points etc. The reality is the fans of all our rivals are thinking exactly the same about their teams.
Forget the number of points we need to achieve in order to stay up and look at it this way, what we have to do is get one point more than the rest of the bottom 6 and we will be safe. It sounds much more achievable when you think of it that way.
The facts are that they have a midtable team who are only midtable by virtue of the fact that the authorities are allowing them to play all season long a player who should be nowhere near a football pitch. A player who's admitted breaking the game's rules but is just allowed to take the piss and play on.
A trio of Danish dullards in midfield and a couple of cart horses at CB.I don't think you're giving the rest of the team enough credit. They look strong all over the pitch.
They are better than us, they are not being “over hyped”.A trio of Danish dullards in midfield and a couple of cart horses at CB.
As said, every dog has its day. This is theirs. Before they fall back to where they belong.
I suspect they'll be in the Championship before we ever are.
Erm no mate lolI suspect they'll be in the Championship before we ever are.
the fact that these type of results happen on a regular basis in the championship, like last week between middlesborough and reading, stoke beat sunderland 5-1 away from home, coventry won 4-0 away from home and even if we sold everyone and had to have a complete rebuild there is no reason why we couldn't do what burnley are doing nowWhat makes you think they'd win Championship games by this type of margin?
As opposed to us, who have thoroughbreds all over the pitch...A trio of Danish dullards in midfield and a couple of cart horses at CB.

A season banging reading 6-0 and Bristol City 5-0 might help these fragile footballers realise they can play football
all them sitters davies missed would have come in handy for our goal differenceIt isn't though and hasn't been for years. 40+ has only been needed once in the last 20+ years I think - West Ham went down with 42.
One season 29 points would have been enough to stay up!
As hard as it's going to be for us to get 36+ points, the same also applies to about 4-5 teams out of the 9 still in trouble. Goal Difference could be the decider this season so we need to be keeping things tight when dropping points and getting a few 1-0s.
