I am sure they absolutely believe we'll be fine and all will magically be ok. It's exactly why they didn't prioritize a striker in the summer despite losing Richy's goals and our regular sicknote striker being out injured before the season started. It's also exactly why they didn't bring anyone in in the winter window despite selling another attacking player in Gordon.

If we stay up it will be in spite of the board, not because of them, yet you know full well they'll be saying "we never had any doubt, look how brilliant we are for getting Dyche and not panic buying unnecessary players". Their delusion, dysfunction, incompetence and negligence have put the club on the brink again and they'll have you believe there's nothing to worry about.
Nail on the head .

Shame it’s not a board members head

Let's hope there will be room for it somewhere at BMD. Might have to build an extension to fit them all in. ;)
I hear we've already put in an order for 1,000 "good try" stickers with a smiley frog on them. Players shall receive one after every game.

The player of the month will then have a certificate with a smiley giraffe on it saying "I tried hardest", presented lovingly by the yardley perfume-wearing Mrs Barrett-Baxendale, while the grrrr-oovy Mr Kenwright plays Z cars on the piano, and all the players are sat cross legged on the function room parquet.

Except Coleman, as the form captain and the eldest boy he gets to sit on a plastic chair like a grown up.

And there was me thinking £80k a week was the best form of motivation........

Well 40 points is usually what keeps you up. At a minimum that’s what we should be aiming for at the start of the season. It probably will be lower that 40 but not by much.
It isn't though and hasn't been for years. 40+ has only been needed once in the last 20+ years I think - West Ham went down with 42.

One season 29 points would have been enough to stay up!

As hard as it's going to be for us to get 36+ points, the same also applies to about 4-5 teams out of the 9 still in trouble. Goal Difference could be the decider this season so we need to be keeping things tight when dropping points and getting a few 1-0s.

i would suggest an element of delusion here, but would be delighted if we were to somehow pull it off!!
They occupy a spot in the table that had the skids put under Everton managers that fell to that position in recent memory.

It's laughable the OTT plaudits those cockney donkeys are getting.

They've won twice away from home all season mate.

I'm looking forward to them being sent packing on Saturday.
Quoted. I hope you're right, I really do,
