would love it to be Pochettino ... I think that type of club really benefits from how he plays - but they're obviously too small fry for him these days.

Favourite is Rodgers
I honestly wonder if these people take these jobs thinking they "made it". There was 0% chance Poch was going to succeed at PSG. Same with Potter with Chelsea. It is something that's always piqued my curiosity whether they think taking a job at Brighton or Everton is now below them.

Poch won 3 trophies at PSG. I'd argue that's success. It's the only trophies he's won in his managerial career.

What constitutes success for Potter? He could win a cup at Chelsea and he's competing in Europe's top competition. He'd have won absolutely nothing at Brighton.

Ambitious manager's will go to clubs that can actually compete at the highest level. We can't and neither can Brighton.

For me Potter has taken this job thinking if he does well he lasts 2 years… and his NEXT job will be the good one with stability

Bottom 5 without a decent or fit striker, great that we have a stronger back line and what looks like a hugely improved midfield but without a mobile forward who can put the onion in the onion bag !! Nice One Bill.

Wolves finished 10th last season, scoring 38 goals. It is possible to 1-0 yourself to mid table. I think that the management team were correct in making defence and midfield a priority this summer. Just hope that injuries are kind to us for the remainder of the season and we can stay out of trouble, as the quality is there in this side to be safe. Fingers crossed.

In 2004/5 when we finished fourth we had a goal difference of -1
