Leicester still have some very good players but a poor defence. If they get rid of Rodgers and a new coach comes in and reorganises the defence then unfortunately I think they will be ok
Over the course of the season Leicester will be ok with the quality they have. Lovely run of games coming up. They could not have hand picked them much better. I think we will be below them by end of October. I think we will be ok as well as long as we can avoid further big injury issues

We need a win to settle the nerves. I think lampard has built a defence and midfield that should keep us competitive in most games and I think this will keep the points rolling in, in theory.

I'm still not convinced we have goals in the team though. Every game is gonna be edgy and nervy and if the results go against us we could very well still be in trouble.

Fulham and Bournemouth continuing to pick up points is a worry at the moment. I think forest are gone, they've made 22 signings so they've got at least half a season to try and make that gel. Plus I don't actually think their signings are of the quality to keep them up.

After that, I've got no idea at the moment. Southampton and Bournemouth still seem the most likely culprits and then it's probably us. Fulham with mitrovic look too good to be dragged in and Leicester won't stay this bad.

….drifted a little in the betting from 2-1.

Easily 15 points better off than last season
Much more solid defensively and midfielder wise we have far more options and look miles fitter and stronger

Great recruitment and coaching looks top draw so far

We will surprise a few this year
Agreed in spirit with all of this (the eternal optimism of a blue!).

To happen, I still feel we need a big fiery CF next to Maupay to bang em in during Jan / Feb onwards when the World Cup hangover hits clubs and the weather sets in.

Would love it if that's DCL...

Would love it if that's Dominic Calvert-Lewin...

Me too but If the injury set back rumours are true he needs replacing

54-55 points is pretty much the full Ancelotti season. That had stuff like starting the season with four straight wins, regular away wins (although balanced out by the mediocre Goodison form BCD).

I still think that's a big ask even though things have settled down after toothless opening few weeks.

Would be happy finishing on something like 45 points and 14th place, that is where Villa finished last season and they had some poor runs so that's certainly achieveable with what the newly formed squad are showing.

Depending on what happens with Brighton, joint lowest goals allowed in the league. Impossible to get relegated if that continues. This early in the season everyone always overdoes it because SOMEONE has to be down there, but the reality is 2 matches can jump you 12 spots on the table.
