I still the think Fulham may struggle. Right now they're playing great, scoring goals and playing without any fear but as points become vital and teams really hit their stride I think they may become whipping boys.
Forest need to bed in far too many players and I still think the likes of Southampton, Leeds and Brentford can go on terrible runs and drop like a stone (as can we).
If Villa keep Gerrard, they'll be down there too but I think their owners are too smart to let things get that bad.

Nothing to suggest Fulham will plummet. They have goals in them (Mitro didn't score last night) and have a very competitive midfield.

Will probably have a similar season to Brentford last year. Be on around 20 points by xmas, then struggle to win a bit and then come strong at the end to stay up by 10 points. As much as we all dislike Silva he's also a better manager than the last two they've had at prem level.

Bournemouth are collecting far too many points for my liking aswell, when are they going to start losing 9-0 again?!

Good news at least is Southampton have been totally toothless in last two games so that is a very winnable game down there.

Don't want to say tomorrow is must win but could really do with four points from next two to build on the positive derby result and performance.

On current evidence its looking like Forest, Bournemouth, Southampton & Leicester could be in trouble. Fulham may also hit a wall some point and once any bad results set in it could snowball. Same with Leeds & potentially Villa if Gerrard continues to get little joy out of them. Reckon West Ham will end up finding their feet and moving up.. they had a really bad set of fixtures to start off with. Reckon Brentford will be alright also.. they've dealt with the sale of Eriksen pretty well.

Obviously our goal is to avoid getting sucked into that situation for any lengthy period of time.

I dont think Bournemouth getting a draw means much. The only 3 teams to allow more than 11 goals are Forest at 17, Bournemouth at 19 and Leicester at 22. Thats dreadful for all of them, and the worst goal differential belongs to Bournemouth. Even if you take out the 9-0 game they still have one of the few worst in the league and cant survive like that. Bournemouth may even likely hang about for the next 3-4 matches as they have a very easy stretch. But then they go through what could be a stretch that puts them right at the bottom.

Leicester looking like its getting worse each week, and if Forest is losing to the likes of Bournemouth and Fulham at home its going to take a miracle for them.

Thing is Leicester we’re okaish till about 65-70 minutes then they just collapsed. Going forward they look very good but defensively man they look a mess.

They do remind me of the Martinez days when we go out and score 2 but ending up conceding 4.

Danger is that if it doesn’t change they are too slow to axe Brenda, also they haven’t really invested in the window to replace the leaders they lost.

Recipe for relegation that

My theory is that Forest and Bournemouth will be in a lot of trouble (for different reasons). Typically 1-2 teams go down who get promoted. Think Forest have gambled on a good start, not got it and are going the wrong way fast. Bournemouth are holding in but lack quality which will catch up across a season.

Outside of that, I honestly think there are another 10 teams who a case can be made for. A lot of teams have had mixed starts.

It's funny, as our experience last year showed, it can kind of suck a team in from nowhere. We were a perennial top 10 team, sitting 7th or whatever and within 2-3 months looked gone.

The closest to that to me look like Leicester. They are playing well and getting hammered, which is an awful mix. They will probably have to sack Rodgers, and it could go either way at that point. But confidence is a key thing, and theres is going.

Other mentions for me are Wolves and Southampton who have both had very poor 2022s. Gerrard at Villa wont be pretty but they should have enough quality.

Hope we can avoid defeat tomorrow.

Right, the amount of goals they are shipping are astounding, and teams that allow a lot of goals are the first to be relegated no matter scoring goals. Last season the 3 worst defenses were in the bottom 4 and Leeds needed a last day win.

There have been many relegated teams that looked okay for most of a game to just throw it away or quit the moment adversity hits. And do that match after match.

Nobody should dislike silva. He came across like a really nice bloke and he did a good job in his first season. He wasn’t a big personality and he liked zonal marking so he had an uphill battle here but I think if we’d held our nerve and kept him we’d be better off than we are now.

We’re in trouble and people who don’t see it perplex me. I’m not saying we’re terrible or bound to go down or whatever but if we don’t win tomorrow we start looking like a team that is screaming relegation. There are genuinely plenty of positive signs but until we start to convert that into positive results we’re in trouble.

Spot on.
Amazing how Leicester were still in the game and looking very good on the ball until 73 mins then total collapse. I still think they will get safe though....just.
The Martinez comparison is a good one

Leicester still have some very good players but a poor defence. If they get rid of Rodgers and a new coach comes in and reorganises the defence then unfortunately I think they will be ok
