Wolves was saved by unbelievable goalkeeping, good fortune. If I had to pick a team to survive I would pick us all day long with the injured players to come back.
If we're consistently being 'unlucky' and coming up against 'unbelievable goalkeeping' then maybe we're just crap and have nobody who can put the ball in the net?

3 games, all lost, against teams we need to be picking up points against. It isn't good enough and will see us sink.

Mate, we’ve lost 3 from 3 and we were playing wolves at home today, who were third favourite to go down. Wolves weren’t “saved” they beat us 1-0.

The Sa save close range was amazing but then Pickford did a similar one at the other end.

Ultimately it was two poor teams on display who'll both finish somewhere in bottom 6/7 just like last season.

I would however back Wolves to grind out a few 1-0s like that over the season especially at home.

This backline is really struggling v crosses currently, Pickford is also getting dragged down by the mediocrity infront of him as couldn't believe how slow he was to come out when Silva shot wide, ball was miles inside the penalty area.

The problem is we were playing Wolves at home. We can't be losing to them and Fulham if we want to avoid another relegation battle.

Save bet my friend...we will not be relegated this year. The media is not doing us any favours, but surely we have more quality in the squad than the like of Sheffield, Luton or Burnley...

Injuries an excuse.

The chances we've made against Fulham and Wolves, any professional footballer should be burying, never mind Premier League.

Even if Beto comes in and bags 10 goals this season, where are the other goals coming from? Because nobody on that pitch is capable of consistent striking a football.

Tarkowski couldnt score an open goal.
Patterson couldn't score an open goal.
Docoure couldn't score a 1v1, when he had a free player to his right with an open goal.
Danjuma couldn't score a 1v1 - multiple times.
Young had to really head it down, it was unlucky.
Maupay couldn't hit a barndoor with a banjo.

FIVE of those players will be starting each week.

Glad I didn't have time to watch today.

3 loses from 3. Injured players or not. We are now psychologically set to go down.

May be missing key players which shows the squad is not fit for purpose. Not sure what the answer is at the moment but know it is going to be a long hard season.

Then mentally it starts to get harder. Not scored, not won, no points. Gaps in the table start appearing and the mental circle of being stuck in the bottom of the table sinks in.

I might have a drink tonight

If you can’t be good, be lucky. Everton have very very rarely been lucky. Ever.

We are good enough to stay up, but once you get stuck at the bottom, every game is must win and the pressure inhibits performances even more.

Not dead yet for me, but getting close.
