Club culture/mentality versus some of the fans doesn’t align and some of the atmosphere stems from that.

It’s why on occasion a manager or players look bemused at getting stick or questioned. Club are telling them one thing whilst some supporters are telling them another.

When they tried to shame people with the headlock nonsense, even after that they told members of the protesters group things anger will die off if results picked up. That’s the mentality you are dealing with here. Self indulgent people not good enough and not helping the club be built for competing for leagues and Europe.

We’re hoping that McNeil can continue the form at the back end of last season. If he reverts back to how he played in his first 30 games then he’ll be pointless

And also that Harrison doesn’t get injured

Otherwise we’ll struggle in every game

I think once we get Beto in and the likes of Harrison fit (DCL is a bonus) we'll be absolutely fine but it'll be another season of struggle thanks to the haphazard approach. We all wanted a season in mid table.

Surely not at the back? Keane feck ups and you had at least Mina and Coady to come in for the last month and play their part in clean sheets and solid defensive performances home and away.

Coleman was also o.k for last few months.

Branthwaite did fine today so hopefully he stays in but very early to judge him at prem level until he's had a couple of months of starts.

Myko v Young has been pretty much par in averageness....some chronic set piece delivery by Young today which shows the severe limitations in signing a 38 year old and making him first choice.
Hopefully we get more reinforcement at the back

This is soulless [Poor language removed]. I hope we get points reduction and will be thrown to the league 2 or something. I hate this Everton it's not real. Brigh all the [Poor language removed] now and we'll deal with it.

Harrison isn't that good. He'll work hard and chip in with the odd goal but don't see him as a game changing signing.

Based on last few months getting McNeill back is essential as he can score goals out of little and will get some structure back out wide and give Young opportunities to overlap.

Beto would be interesting signing. His goal record for Udinese is decent but then so was Maupay's at Brighton!

Get harrison mcneil and hopefully the new striker in. And hope luton sheff utd and burnley are crappier than us.

Thats the best ive got.

We reminds me of Villa when when they went.

They clung on for a few seasons, kept changing managers and steadily got worse. Then they had the season where they finished bottom. I fear this is happening to us now

Newcastle and Sunderland also had endless seasons of turgid prem seasons where they just about scraped 8-9 wins to stay up but both eventually went down in mid 2010s.

Club is certainly on that trajectory now.
