The only positive I can find with the current start is the fact that technically we are no worse off than the equivalent results last season. Lost at home to Fulham and Wolves and away to Villa. We need to better last seasons equivalent results by at least 6 points, so that is 3 opportunities wasted, but there is plenty if time.

This is the only thing I am clinging to at present...

Unfortunately this kind of thing means we have to best Arsenal in a few weeks.

Can’t believe this is real, surely not

I feel like I use the word pathetic a lot these days

But that is yet another pathetic stat in a long line of recent pathetic Everton stats

If I was in any way involved at Everton, I would be absolutely embarrassed. Yet all we get is a shrug of the shoulders, and an Everton that.

Just looking at our fixtures and we are already in massive trouble. Firstly we need signings in and over the line and to get a competitive team on the pitch.

Then you would feel that we would need to win at least 3 of our next 6. Because after that we have a run of 6 that with this squad looks bleak.

Already we are back right in the thick of a relegation fight and surely that should have been the very first thing they should have rectified. But instead they have signed injured players who aren't that good and young players who are not ready.

The one ray of light is that luton and Sheffield utd will not get many points this season. So we need at least one other team to get a low return, because for sure we will not be getting a great deal either.

3 games lost on the trot this season 🙃 the 2 home games should have been 6 points on board, if we are a competent ambitious team, and you would have hoped for a draw away v Villa

It's early days but it's just like the previous 2 seasons where we ended up at the bottom end of the table the whole year 🙃

As others said once the losses start to add up, doubts in a weak minded group of players lead to more losses, more pressure etc and its not enjoyable to watch or deal with

Also get a draw at Brentford.

Not sure what the Sheffield United equivalent game is? Perhaps Southampton away so if it is then 7 points needed from next 3 games.

Also have to factor in 36 points might not actually be good enough to stay up this season but long way from getting a decent reading on points haul needed.

Is there though?
