….yep, I think if us and Forest get a further -10 then it’ll be any 3 from Everton, Forest, Burnley and Sheff Utd.
I think Luton have been playing above themselves. If they're suddenly a few points above the relegation zone that might change. I see them as still in it along with the four you mention.

….the likelihood is, we’d have to be winning 4 more games than Luton before the end of the season. A tough ask, but I suppose they could be involved.

It's all about our games against those around us. If, and it's a big if, we beat Luton, Sheff Utd, Forest and Burnley we'd be in with a good shout

Where are you getting 10 from for both clubs again? The last calculation was 6 points plus 1 point for every 5 million we were over . So unless you are privy to the accounts of both clubs 10 points is basically idle speculation.

Not quite a miracle but it was sheer luck that we didn't end the day worse off than we started it in. Unexpected Luton home defeat, Forest losing at home, and Burnley expectedly being beaten. Just need Chelsea to do the business tomorrow and it'll have actually been a good weekend considering we should have ended up losing points to a few of those sides.
Not really. The only team that were even slight favourites in their game was Luton. And them losing weren’t exactly a shock, despite what some of the experts in here would have you believe.

It’s sheer luck on Luton’s part that they’re “above” us in the first place.

I think 10 for both is the worst case scenario. I see Forest getting a bigger deduction, and us probably a smaller one than the 10 points. If they use a similar scale I'd say 6 for us and 14 for them, but who knows frankly?

Done that one already, easy to comment after the event, no one in their right mind would think Sheff Utd would go to Luton and get a result before yesterday.

Certainly all the blues I know were expecting the worst but hoping for the best like myself.

Well yes, commenting on something that’s factually happened is always easier than trying to predict the future.

By the time our next game is played i suspect we'll have found out about our appeal AND takeover.

Child bd a game with massive pressure or massive pressure lifted.
Getting all or some of our points back, getting 777 approved or rejected plus a win at Palace would give the whole club a lift, IMO.

Some clarity going forwards, then all we need to focus on is the little matter of our 2nd P&S charge which hopefully goes away after the 1st is concluded.

To come out of this season with no sanctions hanging over us, ownership issue sorted, some of the highest earning dead wood out the door and still in the Premier League will be regarded as a success and set us up to have a good season.

Ahahah what, it was two bad teams. Anything could have happened.

It wasn't real Madrid v Maidstone

Forest are our insurance policy.

Time to win some winnable games now. We've done ok during a difficult period of fixtures, but now we need to be winning games. Beat Palace and we'll start to feel a little like we did in December.
I think alot will depend on the outcome of our appeal, if we prove the PL P&S process is flawed we will get 10 points back with Forest and ourselves likely to get off the forthcoming charges.

Do I trust the PL to deal with all clubs fairly? Not one bit....

I can imagine a situation where the PL uphold our 10 points and letting Forest off with 3 even though theirs is a bigger and clearer breach. That is how bent and corrupt they are...
