I won't be happy at all if we lose but that one result won't decide it.

We could win and go down. We could lose and stay up.

But if we get 3 points it's obviously going to help a lot. It's a big game, just not decisive in February.
I think it will be an important game, more to bring a bit of confidence back, our last PL win was mid December and it will be mid February by time we get to the Palace game.

Not sure it is a case of bringing confidence back. Since the start of December in the PL the performances have been decent apart from the Wolves game. Just the opposition in many of those games has been tough. We will start picking up points again if the performances stay at the current level

Where are you getting 10 from for both clubs again? The last calculation was 6 points plus 1 point for every 5 million we were over . So unless you are privy to the accounts of both clubs 10 points is basically idle speculation.
That formula you mention is the formula they say was instated in the August PL meeting which they can`t/unwilling to share with the DCMS or the wider world, the IC rejected it.

The punishment has no rule or formula, it is discretionary on the committee hearing the case. So it is entirely possible that Everton get 20 points deducted from 2 sanctions and Forest get 1 point deducted from 1 sanction. There is no rhyme or reason, it will depend on who the PL are out to get and it seems to be Everton above everyone else.

If the outcome of the appeal is anything less than 10 points back I hope the club take it legal and fight the PL, in a court of law the PL loses. I wonder if they want to risk that?

Beat Palace and we'll start to feel a little like we did in December.

Get 5/6 points back next week and the win and it will feel like Christmas.

…I do think if finishing above Forest could be key to our survival. If we do that we have a very decent chance;

Everton or Forest determines the outcome.

Don't think you can rule out Luton at this stage or even Palace.

Not sure really where to put this, but this kudos is brilliant in he, imagine we got him when lampard wanted him, I think it could all be very different now with just one player with genuine class in attack
