Would be crazy to sack him. Part of our problem is lurching from one manager to the next.

Who do you think we’d get to replace him? Great managers aren’t exactly going to be queuing up to join given where we are in the table, the obvious lack of funds and the high manager turnover.

Not saying he’s the best manager in the world but I back him and, realistically, I’m not sure there’s anyone we could replace him with that would be more likely to get a tune out of this set of players
That is the big problem, isn’t it? Anyone already seen as good won’t want to come here, given we’re a total mess of a club not just a team, and you’re taking an even bigger gamble if you try to take a bright prospect from a lower league (like we did with Moyes) because you’re still not going to give them any cash for players.

We’re between a rock and a hard place. We can’t afford to keep him if he carries on losing games, particularly against relegation rivals, and we can’t afford to sack him because that’s even more money out the door in fat payoffs and there’s no replacement.

We've had a poor start, no question. Partly due to the fact that lady luck wasn't shining on us.

I expect things to improve after the break. He now has Beto who looks the goods and McNeal should be back, possibly Harrison.

Home games against Luton and Bournemouth have to wins, now excuses.

Even Brentford shouldn't be ruled out. Yes rode luck massively down there last season but ultimately it was 4 points over the two games and Bournemouth were leading 2-1 going into stoppage time at the weekend so to me that's a difficult away game (aren't they all these days) but get the first goal and it should be winnable.

And be replaced by who?
Bottom of the table and no money who in their right mind would take the job.

It's a premier league job, they'll always be interest regardless of financial situation and league position unless it's really desperate.

Last season was desperate going into February and Dyche was still up for it so can't see how it would be seen as no go area going into October when there's so much of the season still to be played.

No idea who eventually replaces Dyche but see Rooney is now fully qualified coach so get the feeling at some point in next 2-3 years he'll be offered the job. Is he doing alright in the MLS as Derby was a really difficult job to judge given the endless points deductions they had while he was there.

After 4 games lol give over..
I'm not sure that the 4 games matters. I'm sure the model has City either top or 2nd based upon a number of factors including recent history. I'm also sure us non-super computers would agree with that 4 games in or not. At the other end of the table we've been fighting relegation recently. People with no Everton bias would look at 18th and think it's fairly accurate.

Call me optimistic but i think McNeil will help a lot. Young not getting any cover from Danjuma

When you're playing 5 across the midfield, the pressure shouldn't be on the wide player to cover the full back. They've got to chip in, sure, but they can't be everywhere at once. The team has to have attacking impetus from somewhere. We want Danjuma near the opposition goal, not providing legs for a 40 year old full back.

you dont need a super computer to predict less than 380 football games, complete drivel is what it is
What even is a super computer? They probably just banging info into an excel spreadsheet and then filtering by XG per game.

He did a great job but it wasn't with no money

The figures don’t add up at all though. The Cunha fee came out this summer, and has been offset by selling Nunes and Neves for a combined £110m. Yet they’ve somehow included that fee as part of the January spend, it’d be the same as us including the Beto fee for this summer. They spent a little bit in January but nowhere near £75m.

Lopetegui took the Wolves job when they were bottom of the table with no money, and the job he did there was far, far more impressive than the job Dyche has done here.
Mate what dyche has done for us last season was just unbelievable. ..no strikers for most of the games and no real attacking options...for me one of the managers of the season with guardiola and the Brighton manager. Lopetegui had so many options from the bench to change a game....easiest job in football he had.

Yep he got Cunha in Jan for a big eventual fee. Dyche was was given nothing and we sold our most valuable asset. The club were preparing for relegation as it feels we are again with the late sales of Gray and Iwobi with no replacements
