With Luton on 22 points with 7 games remaining I feel like the absolute best they can do is 4 wins from 7, giving them 34 points maximum.

They have
Bournemouth H
Man City A
Brentford H
Wolves A
Us H
West Ham A
Fulham H

I can’t see them beating Man City, Wolves or West Ham on the road. Can only see them winning the home games. Bournemouth will be tough I think, I think Luton will beat Brentford. Our game there could be massive. Proper “6 pointer” will probably be a draw! Out of those Fulham will have nothing to play for and as we saw against Forrest, Fulham lack a backbone.

For us I’m still targeting 4 wins out of the last 8. I have a suspicion we will get a 4 point deduction putting us on the same points as Luton with a game in hand.
Luton have averaged 0.7 points per game so far this year. With 7 games left this will mean another 5 points…. Leaving them on 27 points at the end of the season.

I cannot see them winning 4 out of their last 7 games.

Well, I can see where 3 of them will come.......
So the other 2 points come from draws against Bournemouth, Fulham or Brentford.

If they get more than 28/29 points I would be very surprised.

Of course if then we possibly get a 4 point deduction then 34 points or 8 points from our last 8 games (we are averaging just over 1 point per game) then that should see us safe - just.

Start by beating Burnley at the weekend and then it is only 5 points from our last 7 games

Yeah I think that's pretty much spot on although I think Luton will probably beat us and win at least one other game at home.

For me our game at Kenilworth Road is a must not lose.

Got a gut feeling ( well no one has a Scooby really ) that we will get a further 4 points deducted.

We will need to beat Burnley , at least draw at Luton , beat Sheff U and pick up another couple of draws and hope that will be enough.

I think it will be very close.

Fair assessment.

As long as any points deduction, it should be a miserable yet uneventful trudge to safety I hope.

Win 3 games and we stay up... easier said than done

Burnley, Brentford, Sheffield Utd, Nottingham Forest, Luton represent huge opportunities for us, yet knowing us, well get the results against Liverpool and Chelsea and lose the rest.

Have you seen the Palace run in??

Not sure where they are going to get any points from.

Palace have got really lucky with all these deductions this season. I think they'll finish on 34-35 points with a few draws here and there.

Glasner seems to be getting the same results Hodgson would've got so another lacklustre transfer campaign in the summer and they'll be bottom six again next year as their general team is very uninspiring.

Not beating them at home was one of the worst results and performances of the season.
