@Ashtonian just admit you're wrong kid, you've been trying to drag us down into the mire for months it seems and we've never been close. Just watch what plays out and then comment instead of predicting the future like some sort if Gypsy fortune teller FFs.
hold up.

go and vault me on my posts where I said we were going down then?

wrong about what? We were in a relegation battle and just like Wigan did we have pulled our way out of it. Now that's fanfuckingtastic we have done that because I don't want to see a relegation battle as much as anyone else but 3 weeks compared to 7 months of a season is not proving me wrong.

as I said before you will all look like tits if we are back down there next season losing games and there wwon't be many vaulting then.

But as I said a few minutes ago, I want martinez to succeed and have said that a he'll of a lot in recent weeks before we went on this league winning form apparently

We've got 7 games to go. And we're 12 points clear.

We were never in a relegation fight, because being in a relegation fight means you have to go into the last 2 months in danger.

You just panicked and shot your load too early.

At least ash is taking his slaps in person unlike some of them other plotters who pissed there panties and disappeared back into the darkness til next time

No one's happy. But there's some of less happy because their predictions of meltdown and relegation didn't materialise. Which is a little strange.

Demands for the Manager's head and a club icon (Duncan Ferguson) to be installed as manager to save us.

There's another word for that: geordieitis, and it's every blue's duty to call it out when it happens. Lest we turn into geordies, petal.

any other club would have sacked martinez in that situation and if he didn't do so well last season we would have done so to. This season has been a mirror image of wigan by all accounts which considering what that means to a club like ourselves it's not terrible to not want the same.

BUT love the fact I was quoted out of context here. I remember saying that and it was in reply to martinez blaming tiredness to why we were losing, roughly the second week in march if I remember right. so the context was a manager who had spent the best part of 7;months getting everything wrong aand then blaming everyone but himself.

so yeah, find me a martinez out quote I have said that was in relation to losing a game this season?

It's great that we're looking safe now but let's not pretend that this season has been anything other than dreadful. It's taken us until April to beat a decent team FFS! The results have only improved since we seem to have abandoned the style that Martinez favours. I haven't seen enough of an improvement yet to convince me that Martinez is the right man for the job.

I am in full agreement with you "Tim". As for RM I am like you still concerned over his suitability bearing in mind some awful results, tactics, subbing and to add to that the dribble he comes out with in conferences plus this continual selecting of Faves who are not even in form.

We were never in a relegation fight, because being in a relegation fight means you have to go into the last 2 months in danger.

You just panicked and shot your load too early.

With 10 matches left we were looking at a relegation scrap, which is exceptionally poor for us.

3 wins on the bounce shouldn't make those memories fade so quickly. We genuinely looked in danger of being involved.

Ashtonian stop waving and except a lifeline when it's thrown fella, you're drowning in your own nonsense and myself and a few others are offering help.

Accept it and admit you've been scaremongering for months with no just cause and people will think better of you.

Going down with the sh1t did the captain of the titanic no favours fella and its the same here..

Wigan were 12 points clear of relegation with 7 games left?

Any other club would have sacked Martinez for similar performance this season on the back of a relatively successful one the year before.

Have you only just started following Everton since you switched from Marine or do you want to go back and edit your post before I jump on in there and make you yelp like a baby deer caught in a bear trap?

We did but we weren't.

Some of us had been saying that given the form of the teams below us we'd be fine with even the slightest improvement.

So it proved, we've hardly turned into barcelona have we but we've done enough to get us out of any danger with 7 games to spare.

Most of us who didn't panic at the first opportunity saw that coming. It's a poor league.

Except we never were in danger but our pleas for a little less hysterical posting was ignored and laughed at.

So, now we're back. Hi!
