Relegation Fight 2014/2015

We've got 7 points from our last 6 games. Villa got 0, qpr got 3, leicester 4, burnley 5, sunderland 5, hull 7, west brom 8, palace 10.

We're playing better than most of the relegation fighting teams and slightly worse than 2.

Only we have a 6 points cushion to defend.

Are we? The football we played in the first half today was laughably bad. But then again we've played like that all season in the league

In terms of picking up points.

We have 7 from our last 6 (which included chelsea, city and liverpool). villa have 0 from their last 6, qpr 3 from their last 6, leicester 4.

We're not playing well but we are playing better.

Arsenal away could actually finally be a game that suits our players. Barkley, Mirallas, Lennon and Lukaku are all essentially counter attacking players in a possession based team. If we play them against Arsenal and our defending is organised, then we might actually get something.

Although clearly Martinez will play Naismith, Osman, Pienaar etc.

i still think we'll win 4 games.

Based on what?

Lost home to Stoke, away to Hull, drawn at home against WBA and now Leicester.

Struggling to see where 4 wins come from.

Other teams in the dog fight know they just have to shut up shop and we will run out of ideas after 20 minutes, then they can attack themselves like Leicester did today.

We can't beat Leicester but we are going to get a result against Arsenal. We keep doing the same thing week in week out and we expect the outcome to be different, why?

After this result today I think the alarm bells have well and truly been rung in the boardroom. The directors should be very worried, very worried indeed regarding the uncertainty now spreading through the club.

I have said it before, we will not be relegated but we are still in a dirty fight. Amount of money we receive is determined by league position, this is the crux of the matter. Add to that for the most part our performances on the field have not been good apart from Bern. That for me is what is worrying and RM seems incapable or unwilling to take the steps that are needed to address this issue.

That's the definition of 'insanity' and indeed that's what we've been this season. From managerial perspective to decision making by the players.

Arsenal will play an open game next week, so I expect a famous narrow defeat.

Then back to absolute dog turd against Stoke.
