Rather be in the prem every time means nothing being in the league below. One the jokes from the rs about going down and for me is a disgrace that it has got to this. Yes it may get rid of people at the club faster but is a big risk and is not 100 % we come straight upLets be honest though they are just stats you don't get a trophy for most seasons in the top flight - the last 27 years we've been largely a midtable boring club making up the numbers outside of a few good seasons under Moyes and one under Martinez.
I think people are worrying too much - Newcastle and Villa both went down and are now back in the PL doing better than us. The Championship whilst competitive isn't the most difficult to get out of when you have a half decent squad at that level hence why Fulham and Norwich seem to bounce up and down every season.
Mitrovic has about 40 goals in that league this season and he's lucky to hit 7 a season in the PL.
Whilst players like Keane, Godfrey, Iwobi, Doucoure are average in the PL they'll instantly look boss down there even El Ghazi looked like Messi the year Villa came back up so I dont worry about staying down there.
Just cant be doing with the "RIP EFC" nonsense on social media.
My Villa supporting mate said to me a few days back "those years we where in the Championship what did I miss out on that you were enjoying in the PL?" and the answer was nothing. He also said whilst the quality in that league was less he enjoyed the championship more than he has the PL since coming back up.
You'll be suprised how many will probably feel similiar if the worst happened albeit they wouldn't dare admit it in fear of looking small time in front of the super bloos.
we won 3 and drew 1 in our first 4 games this season yet we are 17th and 1 point above the relegation zoneLeeds have won 3 and drew 1 of their last 4 games. They're not on the ropes and i wouldnt be surprised in the slightest if they won at palace on monday. They beat watford 3-0 away last game. Absolutely no chance i can see us winning like that there or anywhere.
No matter how i look at it. I think Everton are in the biggest trouble out of us burnley and leeds.
The away defeat to burnley was a killer. A killer.
Not given up. But i just dont see the quality.

there is a reason why leeds have a goal difference of -30
they may be in a good run of form at the moment and have picked up some decent results but that doesn't necessarily mean that they can keep that form going with some tough fixtures ahead of them

I think it's extremely likely this goes to the final day.
So what's the alternative? Carry on being miserable believing in an impossible dream for the next 30-40 or so years we all have left? Stop supporting Everton altogether if we go down as some others in this thread seem to be suggesting? Because if you carry on believing there is no positive to be gained, I can't see what other options you have when the inevitable does actually happen......or are you one of those people that still naively hangs onto the notion that it won't happen as long as we refuse to contemplate the possibility of it?
The game in hand will be Watford away mate
But yes I expect us to get beat on Sunday
your mate is a div. he enjoyed the championship more than the PL? lol lol lol lol lol oh i can’t wait NOT
super bloos? ffs lad stop it you may want to enjoy the championship but i and countless others don’t
There’s also goals in that Leeds team no matter how bad they are defensively. Therein lies the difference, as we struggle to score goals.Lets be honest, what we did right at the start of the season has nothing to do with right now. The reason aswell for the -30 is also gone. Marco bielsa.
Of course there isnt anything necessarily straight forward in this run in. But you posted like leeds were an easier catch than burnley. I dont see it myself. We're at least 2 games away from going above them. Thats 2 wins and 2 losses for them.
For me its burnley hitting the wall. And us somehow picking up points. Leeds isnt impossible. But i cant see it.
The club not being bust is a startWhat do you enjoy about the PL mate serious question?
The corrupt refs?
The "big 6" bias?
The entire pre match coverage chat about said big 6 before a game between Everton vs Southampton?
VAR?
Mid table finishes?
Overpaid primadonna players?
Grubby super agents?
Honestly dont get what so many love about this league.
The club not being bust is a start
The fact that you want to be fighting at the top table?
Not having the humiliation of the club's first relegation in 70 years?

This is where I am at with football. It’s pretty gross now but we never have a moment to reflect on what we are part of.What do you enjoy about the PL mate serious question?
