Liverpool with a record breaking crypto shirt sponsor next season. Whereas we turned down crypto sleeve sponsors for ethical reasons despite being on the brink of financial ruin. This board don't want a competitive football club, they want a nice guy charity.

If I overpay for a house, and spend £400k on it when its worth £250k; I've still bought the house. Its my fault I bought poorly.

Everton Football Club has spent £500m on players since Moshiri came in; that's what we've given other clubs. Nobody is disputing the fact its been poorly spent, but that's what we've spent. That amount of money is enough to have a team easily challenging for the top 4. There's no Net Spend bollocks or yearly averages, that amount should have been enough.

The fact that that massive tit who owns us had no plan or idea how to implement that spend is the reason we are in this mess. He thought, bring in a bring in a big name, give them cash and we'll be successful.

Do you like the house?

Genuine question, can you get streams for championship games? If we go down which looks more likely than not, I’ll not know what to do at the weekend at around 3pm if I can’t watch.
We should get more than others in the championship but there will be many weeks you wont ind us id imagine. Everton official website will have to step in.

who gives a f about them seriously we’re tryna stay up lad not assed about a sponsor

Why would it be a shoestring budget?

Because right now, if we stay up, we have to raise around £50m just to stay within PL P&S rules.

The EFL rules are much, much tighter. I thought it was a £50m loss over three years but in the Championship it's £39m over a three-year cycle.

Everton are operating right now having lost what, £120m?

Everton are hugely reliant on the TV money to keep going. That's what pays the wages etc. We have a huge, huge wage bill and a lot of the players won't have relegation clauses so we will have to sell those players way below market value and odds on would have to loan the likes of Gomes out as there simply won't be buyers given his wages.

The PL TV money will go. The parachute payment will cover some of it but hardly enough.

And we'd have to somehow get a whole new squad together that would be good enough to get out of that league?

I'm sorry, it'd be horrendous.

@davek Said were getting relegated.

And hes ALWAYS wrong.

Plus i think we'll dig out 3 wins.
I've been watching davek big up the possibility of survival. Its probably what has me worried most. With all due respect to the kmiester. He just likes to take on impossible battles.

there’s always twists and turns i’m hoping we can get the fortune to dig out of it i will give anything.

it’s hurting me so bad

They showed the grit and commitment yesterday that they should have done all season. Let’s hope they can do it for the last few games.

No, that’s terrible management. Other teams take their time to scout the players who’ll fit their requirements and apart from the 2 manc clubs, sell to fund it. Even Chelsea have had to sell to buy recently.
I'm not saying it's good management, but it is what clubs are doing. Every club not in the top6 pay more for similar if they can even get them. Better scouting etc is great but it still is incredibly difficult to break into the top 6...and that's the way they like it.
Ambition from anyone outside the top 6 is laughed at. And the consequences are dire if it fails
It seems the way these days to stay financially solvent is to know your place and hope one season you get lucky in a cup run etc
How many teams outside the top6 have won the cups in recent decades? Don't know off the top of my head but it's not many
Same for the league. And now with the new coefficient qualification in the CL a top club slipping off their perch for a year isn't punished so other teams need to get lucky a few years running. Be also-rans is the message from the current structure
