Technically safety is still in our own hands. Win all 6 of our games and we cannot be relegated. Very unlikely that though considering we have only won 8 in the previous 32 games. Still in our own hands though for a short time longer.

Of course it can be done.

But Everton would have to get everything - absolutely everything - right to get out of that division.

But you're looking at integrating/building an entire new squad (fine), maybe a new manager (we'll see on that), and the club never having in most of our lifetimes having been down in this position. We'd be facing a more congested season, which given our injury record isn't good news, and we'd be building the squad on very limited funds. That squad would somehow have to have enough quality to get promoted out of one of the toughest leagues in the world over 46 games.

Teams like Norwich and Fulham - they're set to come down and go back up because they keep the core of their squads together. It's why they don't have enough, usually, to stay up, but they know how to get back up.
So it can be done.

Keep Lampard & his backroom team , most of the big wasters will be gone .
Let him bring his own in , i would be confident he would do it.

BTW, yes, Leeds have the tougher games. However, I dont believe in Burnley. They look shocked to be out of the drop zone. If it goes wrong for them at Watford I can see their belief evaporating.

Soz lids. Typical Palace would have been to ship one in stoppage time. Knew we were doomed when he brought Benteke on.
Watford will beat Burnley. There. Said it.
I expected Leeds to win mate, not because Palace are a bad side (they aren’t’), just because that’s the way the cards have been falling lately.

Happy with the draw from my point of view. ??
