We aren’t down, but I don’t sense sufficient fight in this lot.
if the players want to stay up for us and everyone then it’s a must

He wasn't sacked for finishing 8th. He was always going to be sacked regardless of where he finished.
Interesting question. I'd go for prime Jags/Distin myself though as we wouldn't create anything for Yak.
Always scored, no matter how bad we were.Tim Cahill every day of the week, is the correct answer.
Sadly a lot of the advice he has actually taken would appear to have come from Joorabchian!Moshiri is the money man, we did need that. The mistake was Bill staying, I would imagine Bill has given Moshiri a lot of advise over the years. I don’t blame Moshiri he’s put up the money just been badly advised.
If they beat Watford and get another result or two they'll be on 36-38 points. 2 wins and draw sees them on 38 pts. Not sure why you think they won't get that when the season is over for the teams they play bar Spurs who are fighting top 4 and Watford who are fighting to survive. Villa will beat Norwich for 40pts and once safe Gerrard will happily gift Burnley 6 points at our expense. Newcastle is Burnleys last game of the season and they're safe now thanks to Howe thus they will have nothing to play for come the final day. They won't get six from Villa. I could see them beating Watford or drawing at least then maybe another result or two. We are over stating Burnley now because they have had a mini run, they will be decent at home but away it's no given. I don't see them beating Spurs away or even Newcastle at home
That;s where I am. I've been resigned to this since January so it's nothing shocking to me atm.I was thinking about Relegation and the 7 stges of grief. I think I am at stage 6 right now given that I have gone through the previous 5 stages multiple times over the last few weeks.
Where are you all at?
The 7 stages of grief
BTW I avoided a new thread on this , lord knows we dont need another depressing thread...
- Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings.

I concur, given his skills , goals, attitude etc he would be one who would be an even bigger superstar in the current league.Always scored, no matter how bad we were.
100% the right answer for me, too.
Jagielka for me.Tim Cahill every day of the week, is the correct answer.
Hence Holgate's "its just a blip and when we begin to climb the table I can consider my England chance" and following week Iwobi's "we not Championship players"I genuinely think a lot of our players don’t realise the situation we are in. Be the same with the morons on the board like Kenwright. Pure denial. I think there’s only the fan base involved in the club who can see the cliff edge (and that’s not the whole fan base) Not only have we seen it we have been shouting about it since before Christmas.
