I counted leeds out of it a few weeks back but i agree looking at their fixtures. I bloody hope potters brighton go there and play like they can play.
Still slim giving we've lost 19..yep 19 of 32 this season. But we've a few winnable games. I think we have to go into that watford game with a chance of at least going level with them at kick off.
if we have lost 19 - i don't see us winning enough.

When you look at it, it's only now we should really appreciate the fantastic job Sam did, and we disgracefully sacked him.
For me that was the start of this mess
He got us from bottom of table and were spiralling toward relegation into 8th. Fans on his back all the way till the end.

Benitez had us 1rst after the first 4 games and fans screaming for him to be sacked still. It was never going to work out.

Both managers have plenty of experience in either winning European and domestic trophies or are fantastic at keeping a club safe and stable.

But two of them are ugly and not doing great in the personality department.

Frank Lampard. Charming, speaks well.. Good looking. No experience but for a failure at derby and Chelsea. Has taking him half a season but finally has us in the relegation places.

Its the prity hot charming girl getting the job over the fat blimp with experience clechè and everyone is tolerating her screw ups.

OK we get it. People are gay for lamps. Nothing wrong with that. It's 2022. But you're misplaced direction on blame will see us relegated.

My hope was Burnley would draw that win has put a nail in our coffin our team just doesn't have the balls to come from a five-point deficit I dearly hope I'm wrong... The day after the relegation we need to demand change at this club. Every board member needs to go the club needs to be sold to people who understand how to run a football club and progress it on and off the pitch! My fear is they hang around d like a bad smell and we plunge the depths like Leeds and Sunderland did.

Why is it double standards? Im not the one who pretended mass injuries, crap players and dodgy ref calls weren't happening earlier on in the season like many were doing in order to blame Benitez's tactics as the sole reason for our poor form.

Benitez didn't do a good job.

Lampard is also not doing a good job.

The player's are rubbish.

No agenda or double standards from me - I just cant sit back watching fans give the current fella a free pass when he's had half a season to get results.

I do think he'll keep us up though.
The buck stops with Moshiri. He's an absent owner and he's left a clown in charge. Blue Bill is running around like a kid in a sweet shop with his sugar daddy's money. I'm grateful for the investment and the stadium which will be our saving grace but they must take responsibility for their appalling decision making.

They are the ones who overpaid for mediocre players, they are the ones who hired and fired manager after manager every time they got a squeaky bum. They are the ones responsible for gutting this club and destroying it's identity.

To use a Moyes analogy, we might have been shopping at Harrods rather than Tesco but we were buying stillleto heels when we needed a rain coat.

Benitez one win in fourteen, should have been sacked after half of those loses, most definitely after the Norwich game, not sure how many games he had after that but still he had more than enough time to get it right and didn’t.

…absolutely, & posters like @ForeverBlue92 point to the Burnley game.

No mention of Brentford away when they were the poorest team we’d played yet with crosses fizzing across the penalty area for the last 30mins he left Dobbin and Simms on the bench and stuck with laborious Rondon. After the game, running quickly down the tunnel leaving the players to face the fans, not forgetting how he milked the crowd when we got a late winner against Arsenal.

No mention of game plan of sending the team out week in and week out to consolidate, even against the worst teams meaning we always conceded first.

No mention of the turmoil he caused away from the pitch, forcing Brands out, forcing Digne out, forcing the head physio out. Conflict at Board level, conflict in the dressing room, conflict with the FF staff.

Benitez had a record of one win in fourteen how on earth could he have stayed in post? Whilst I do see your point re Lampard I am not convinced other managers do much better with this squad and don't know who was actually willing to take it with the turmoil at every level?!
