I'm one of them and I say it's not over yet.

We've had an incredible set of results lately and I'm delighted with it but I make no apology to say I thought we were gone after the Burnely defeat (earlier if I'm being honest) and we are not safe by any stretch. Only when that becomes a mathematical certainty will I rest easy.

I thought most thought that after Burnley in fairness. In fairness the form has been pretty good since then with only a defeat in Mordor so at least the squad started properly looking at the table from early April and started pulling their fingers out. Lampard aswell has made some astute selections.

Dosen't mean they should all get new 5 year deals as a "reward" for all of this otherwise club will just be in similar state this time next year so need to use June for a thorough review of all this.

It isn’t though mate. We have been in the battle til the end, at no point did we pick up points naturally and breeze to safety, we’ve had to scrap for our lives. History won’t be rewritten, we were looking over the cliff edge this season.
