So what? It was there for the taking. Any manager coming in with a crowd there to be ignited behind the team and the 3 main players of DCL, Richarlison and Mina back in after a game back last week had no right to lose that game.

Not playing our season's best player in Gordon was atrocious.

He's not fit to be anywhere near the dugout., He's learned nothing in 6 years.

But it happened. Slippy knew exactly what to expect and they combated it well unlike Lampards Chelsea a few seasons back. They weathered a storm by the end of it.

Gordon was legless by 70mins against Nowrich. He threw him on early rather than 70min mark that the Spanish Waiter would've some ( and been 3 down).

He made positive changes early and we didn't get the goal against a side who dug in. Was a great header at the stroke of halftime then the 45mins that proceeded was all in their half. Fine margins for a team that can't buy a win.

Againz you'd still make excuses if we'd won.

I sometimes wish we hadn’t won the first few games of the season, thereby giving the league table a false look as time went on. He would then have been sacked at Watford (10 games ago) giving us more time to right the ship.

I’m beginning to think that maybe relegation is what this club truly needs right now. I never thought I’d think this way, but this entire club and fan base has become a toxic mess.

I don’t go the match anymore as a) The quality of football is crap and had been for years and b) the level of hate, malice, and division within the fanbase is too much to take.

Maybe a fresh start is what’s required? A new young ambitious manager with a progressive footballing philosophy. New young exciting players. A new professional board and executive team running the club. A new scouting and recruitment policy and most importantly a unified fan-base once again.

Would relegation be the end of us or just the start of us?

We’re going down. If we don’t it will be down to blind luck and it will catch up with us next year. We are genuinely terrible, possibly the worst team in the league, anyone who can’t see that is kidding themselves. We are in big, big trouble.

Honestly I am fearful of that now. I don't have much faith in the names linked.i think if we got Allardyce we would probably be ok. But there is a complacency at the top of the club, who seem to think it's not a possibility.

Our only hope is Burnley and Watford seem gone and may only get mid 20's points wise. we have to hope 1 of Newcastle, Norwich or even Brentford go on an awful run and get to say 32 points ish and we can somehow scramble there.

Watch out the clown @nsno-chris will start automatically reacting to everyone of your posts now by clicking his favourite middle finger emoji.

Also the part I bolded is completely wrong no matter what people think of Benitez, how is his track record that of being a "truly awful manager"

Don't really care about his track record, just to say he was an absolute awful manager for us, possibly the worst in our history and I was one of the fools that was willing to give him a chance.

Yesterday was a blow. I love Dunc, but dropping Gordon and playing 442 showed that lessons haven’t been learnt, which is disappointing.

I thought we would win and get breathing space but now we have a huge game against Newcastle which is huge ask for a new manager to come in to.

I think Moshiri could go for allardyce again. He is a business man and knows we need to stay up, let’s face it, he hired the waiter - anything can happen.
