Everton have agreed compensation with Watford for manager Marco Silva. Reports on Friday claim the compensation is in the region of £4m and, in reaching the agreement, the clubs have avoided a Premier League inquiry into allegations the Toffees 'tapped-up' the Portuguese
how many games left and how many wins do we need?

We didnt derail their season tho, as he proved when he came here, his methods just fell apart at both clubs. So yeah, pretty much us paying them off to make the allegations go away
If we were on the receiving end of something like that and it derailed our season then we’d be furious
Bloody Moshiri again

He did well at Fulham this season, thats the thing with young managers, they learn, adapt and improve, sometimes.
They should have just given us their manager, it’s their own faultI think turning his head the way we did basically ruined their season tbh
I'm up for this scenario too.I particularly enjoyed this:

I'd love to see Hodgson singing Spirit of the Blues and trying to get a conga going with Lampard.
I’d say two more wins
That puts us on 41
Southampton are on 40 and have Liverpool and Leicester to play, so I can’t see them winning again
Leeds have Chelsea and Brighton next
If they lose those two and we beat Watford then we’ll be safe as of Sunday
They have gone through more managers than we have gone through players with injuries this season.Even more weird given the rate that they go through managers.
Matty reckons 12 more wins. Workings out......... not a FFFKIN clue. lolhow many games left and how many wins do we need?

4 games. We need 13 points .how many games left and how many wins do we need?

It's very simple for me: beat Watford and we're safe. Those two below us just dont have the games or capacity to respond to 38 points. If we beat Watford and Chelsea beat Leeds, we will 4 points ahead of them going into the weekend.
If my maths is correct on Sunday if Brighton have beaten Leeds in the morning, leaving them with one game to play and a 4 point gap we are officially safe as they wont be able to catch us?
We could kick off against Brentford safe from relegation?
Either way if Leeds do pick up a win in the next two games, if we have beaten Watford a win against Brentford will also get us over the line if Burnley have lost earlier to Spurs.
We have two teams chasing us, we only need one of them to be out of reach.
We only need the same number of points as either Leeds or Burnley, between now and the end of the season, to be safe.We just need more points than 3 other teams, people are making it far more complicated than it needs to be in that sense.
