I’ve spent a lot of the time since yesterday’s result trying to work this question out. I don’t know the answer. It would require a shift in thought I’ve not had to tackle in my 40 years.

Hope you’re right, but maybe our purple patch was at the beginning of the season

The team showed a bit of fight, if we keep on reducing other sides from hitting 2/3 against us, then we just need DCL etc. to finish a chance - not multiples. The games against Newcastle are huge though, do badly and that fight could go and them we are in deep....

I wonder if Brands was more important to the general morale behind the scenes than we ever thought possible.
