I suppose if Leeds lose and we get a point then that’s that’s, but I can’t see them losing at home to Brighton. Got to be beating Brentford at home so if they draw it amounts to the same thing.
No. If we match Leeds's result on Sunday, a point at home to Palace gets us safe.

I wont defend these players too much, but they've just spent a shed load of energy and nervous energy on overhauling two teams who are well better than them. I can see why they may have flagged tonight.

We know what they are on the roasd, but they just won 4 out of the last 6 points, so I'm not kicking off for one.
Well that's on Lampard then - Refresh the team - El Ghazi wasn't even on the bench!

Surely our bums are better than already relegated Watford's bums?

That WILL happen. I expect Burnley to get zero points and ship 6 goals at least in the next two games. They'll need snookers when they play Newcastle if we haven't won on Sunday or the Palace game.

My worry mate is we absolutely can’t beat teams at our level when we have to take the initiative, look at our recent results all gotten from defending for our lives and hitting on the counter, against teams that went at us.

Tonight is a perfect example as was Burnley away.

Goodison and the ground heaving may be our saving grace, it’s such a horrible place to play for the opposition when it’s a bear pit.

People keep bringing up were we were a few weeks ago, or pointing out we’ve won our last 2 before today.

That is irrelevant to the performance tonight. In fact it should’ve motivated them more. We played a diabolical football team with nothing to play for while we have everything to play for, and we couldn’t do it. We didn’t even come close. It was a crazy bad performance. How are people dressing this up by bringing up the previous two games. Today was completely and utterly unacceptable.

Tonight is the real Everton team as it is currently constituted, we are a very poor side. We may have beaten Chelsea and Leicester but they were the freak results. I do believe we will manage to stay up but that is because Leeds seem to have completely imploded. I can see them getting one point from their remaining two games, we will do better than that, just.
The two wins were starting to distort the reality of the present squad, we were talking about retaining this player or that player, tonight's result shows the squad needs gutted completely, the only players that are worth keeping are those who probably won't stay.
No matter what happens over the next three games, even if we can get 3 wins, don't let us lose sight of the fact that the vast majority of our squad are not good enough to play in the Premier League.

I think Brighton will win easily. They've been one of the best teams in the league away over the last month. Especially at teams who try to attack them.

If Brighton beat Leeds and Everton pick up a draw vs Brentford then we are effectively safe regardless of anything else.
