Tonight was practically a home game due to the fans, against a relegated teams reserves and couldn't score.

How's the Brentford game gonna be any different

...erm, because Goodison isn't "practically" a home game and we beat that lot by 4 last time they were up here.

What kills me is that they clearly have not been watching these players this season.

11 points from 18 and they are screaming blue murder. Two home games to ensure we stay up. Save our energy for those.

I generally believe we'll be celebrating safety achieved against Brentford (Leeds loss and Everton draw/win).

Goodison will be roaring, no one will care about the Watford game and we'll finally unclench.

Leeds could quite conceivably beat Brighton

We could do with Spurs tonking Burnley to for goal difference. Hopefully they beat Arsenal tomorrow and have something to play for.

That WILL happen. I expect Burnley to get zero points and ship 6 goals at least in the next two games. They'll need snookers when they play Newcastle if we haven't won on Sunday or the Palace game.

Lack of quality raises its head again. Scrapped 2 wins with pickford saving us the maximum 6 points. Tonight when it came to go win a game other than just digging in the lack of quality is quite scary. I think every single other team in this division would have turned watford over tonight. Even norwich.

I am always surprised by comments like this.

Our biggest problem since Lukaku left is that we’ve not had a proven goal scorer.

Last year was an anomaly as Ancelotti managed to perform a miracle to get a very average DCL to turn into a prime finisher.

We’ve struggled all year, we have looked terrified to shoot for several years. It’s nothing new. Richarlison isn’t, and never will be a centre forward.

But we didn’t lose, normally this season we would. Valuable away point ahead of two huge cup finals at Goodison.

I’m sure Lampard has his eye on a few signings to help the attacking line next season.

I suppose if Leeds lose and we get a point then that’s that’s, but I can’t see them losing at home to Brighton. Got to be beating Brentford at home so if they draw it amounts to the same thing.

Most of the lads on here would have put more of an effort in tonight

I wont defend these players too much, but they've just spent a shed load of energy and nervous energy on overhauling two teams who are well better than them. I can see why they may have flagged tonight.

We know what they're like on the road, but they just won 4 out of the last 6 away points, so I'm not kicking off for one.
