We are in big trouble.

Maybe the crowd can help us cause an upset against Palace because the crowd have been magnificent of late (like a 12th man, as Frank said), but Palace tonked us 4-0 the other month without breaking a sweat.

If I was a gambling man I would bet on us getting just 3 points from our final 3 matches, which almost certainly won’t be enough to keep us up.

Brentford on Sunday is a MUST win. It’s perhaps the biggest game in our club’s history. We have got to get behind the lads from the first whistle to the last like we did against Chelsea.

I’m actually not that disappointed with the point against Watford away because the last time we played them we conceded 5 goals, but it leaves us in a perilous situation.
So Leeds will win both games and Burnley will win 2? It wasn’t the same Watford team. It was a far worse Watford team. It was a terrible match and not a great result but at least we didn’t lose.
Why is Brentford easier for Leeds away then us playing Brentford at home???

An inability to draw games has dogged us all season. We have actually won the same amount of games as 11th place Crystal Palace, but they have drawn 14 games compared to our 6.

I really don't know what so many of you were expecting from last night. We are an abysmal team, with truly shocking players. Our best outfield player Richarlison, who some of you mad cats wouldn't sell for £80m, can't run, dribble, pass or shoot and doesn't even really have a preferred position. And when your 'best player' can't do any of that, then try and wrap your head around how bad the rest of them must be.

I posted earlier in the week that anybody thinking we'd go away to Watford and beat the brakes off them obviously hasn't watched Everton this season. I keep trying to remind people that we have played against three Championship sides this season and went life and death with all three, actually losing to one. I still can't quite believe that so many on here can't understand what this team's true level is, the fact we're within touching distance of safety now given where we were after the Liverpool game is nothing short of miraculous.

Four points at most will now see us home, with two games at home in front of the people who are the only reason why we're still alive at all to get them. Provided we do stay up, the home fans should go on the pitch at Goodison and do the lap of honour in front of the players in the stands, as it's them who be thanking our fans for saving their hides this season, not the other way around.

Not a hope

The reality is we will need 2 more points to be safe, despite the doom mongering here.

I think last nights draw has been seen as a bit of a let down by a lot of fans, and I can understand that 100%
Funnily enough though I was speaking to a fellow blue before the game yesterday and we both agreed it'll be seen as a "mustn't lose" game by Frank and we both called it as a dour 0-0. When I saw how we set up it basically confirmed it, after 20 minutes you could see this was never going to be a 0-3 as some hoped for, including me.

The planning, the commitment and the throw a bit of caution to the wind attitude is being saved for the 2 up coming home games I reckon.
For me a draw last night kept us well on target and avoided a banana skin game we so often balls up, I was happy with the point.

3 back in the middle at the weekend and maybe rest Gray for a Rondon/DCL double act. I'm certain the home games will be a different thing altogether than last night.

Brighton can still finish 8th so more money; they won't go easy on Leeds.
Not saying they will. If there's one day for Brighton to make sure they actually match their xG, then Sunday can be it, please Graham.

Relying on a man called Graham, what has the world come to.

Where’s all this negativity come from.

People harping on like we’re a good side, when we’re not, we’re now just a side who’s battling a lot more.

We didn’t end up in a relegation battle by chance, it’s because we’ve not been. Good enough all season.

Despite that, we’ve taken 40% of our away points in the last 4 days, and now face 2 home games (and our home record has been solid, if not spectacular this season) in 5 days knowing 4 points will keep us up.

Watford are terrible, but we’d stilll have lost that under Benitez.

We’re helping them over the line, so be at Goodison and have the place rocking on Sunday, and come Monday morning hopefully we’re back to the “Summer Transfers” thread.

Well no Kev the reality is we might need one more point to be safe, if Leeds lose on Sunday.

But they very well may not do. Of their last 8 games the teams they have lost to are Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea, with two of those being when they had 10 men.

It's not the end of the world last night but a win was there to take and the players didn't have the quality to get it, and neither did the manager unfortunately.

A win would have meant we could have been all but safe before a ball was even kicked on Sunday.

We aren't a good side no which is why I was very worried yesterday but Watford are atrocious and they had 9 players out. The performances of the players belayed a lack of quality and guile which we know already but I am frustrated that Lampard didn't act more decisively when a win was there to take.

He let the game drift far too long. When we had a foothold around an hour mark he could have either pushed Iwobi on into midfield to get between the lines or introduced players from the bench. Instead he let Gray and Gordon carry on running down blind alleys only to then say afterwards they were tired.

Best post I've read in a long time.

My worry now, if we are able to survive, is that this is the level we've set ourselves and we won't have the opportunity to make wholesale changes. We're lumbered with atrocious players, so many of them still with years left on their deals and who earn far more here than they possibly could elsewhere, hence we won't be able to sell them even if we want to.

Does Lampard have a strong enough character to stand up to the players and tell them that they need to move if they want to play football? To me he comes across as too much of a nice guy. I certainly can't imagine him reading the riot act to the players.

Next season we'll have 90% of the squad from tonight, so we've nothing whatsoever to be excited about or look forward to. As soon as we meet a Premier League side in the cup we're out if we're drawn away from home, and if we manage to get lucky and scrape our way through a few rounds with favourable draws and results, we're still out as soon as we meet City or Liverpool anyway.

We're probably still going to have Seamus Coleman on the books when we're trotting out at Bramley Moore stadium, cannot believe the man is still here.

Angered me whenever the camera was on him and he's just stood there with his finger to his lips or just pondering what he's seeing in front of him. Why isn't he barking out instructions to the players and telling them what needs to be done? He's brought his all-star coaching team with him, but they're all just sat on the bench doing nothing. 70+ minutes to make a sub when it looked like we could play all night and still not scored. Tactically extremely poor last night from the manager.
