not a hope that both leeds and Burnley win their last 2 - and Burnley are guaranteed to lose to Spurs this weekend.

The worst case scenario has one of them winning both games, and the other getting 4 points.

That means we only need 3 points and in the cold light of day assuming Burnley get hammered by Spurs, we only need 2.

We are completely incapable of winning games against teams that park the bus. If Brentford and Palace come to Goodison with that approach we could be in deep trouble. And I still wouldn't write Leeds off. Burnley have a better chance of going down than Leeds in my opinion.

They defended set plays really badly in the cup. We will get opportunities but the delivery has to be far better.

I'm optimistic that Goodison will respond and lift the team

Remember seeing Doucoure stood over a free kick against Leicester...that's how much faith the team has in the set piece department

Need spurs to beat Arsenal tonight so they come out and have something to play for against Burnley sunday.

Hard to know if our game moving from 2pm to 4.30pm is a benefit. I dont want to be going into the Palace game needing points.
The aim is to avoid going into the Arsenal game needing points.

If we need something at home to Palace, so be it. We have to earn the right to stay top flight. Two home games to get what's needed. We would have dreamed of that after the Burnley debacle.

Well the fans in the stadium on Sunday will already know the Leeds result before kick-off. It could be absolute party time atmosphere if they've been beaten.
