Same brighton who went away to arsenal and spurs within the space of a week and won at both. Who have won last two games versus woves and man utd by an agg score of 7-0. Brighton have more points away than at home.
Bar possibly city and liverpool i think this is as tough a game for leeds they could have. I can see them picking leeds off with their football.
I know, Brighton are a decent side. But Leeds will know it's their last chance.

I would give a lot for Graham Potter to rock up and Brighton cruise to a 2-0 but I think there's another twist or two in this.

I've tried to rationalise it, but it's still not happening for me: half a dozen games left and 5 points adrift, who'd have thought that just three games later we'd be 2 points clear of the drop zone? Not me, anyway. And if we'd drawn at Leicester and won last night I think we'd all have viewed that as two very decent away days that yielded 4 points. Even over these 3 games we've put together the sort of run that seemed impossible to imagine prior to the Chelsea game. But it's human nature to always want more, so I still don't feel great about last night's game - no matter how I try to sell it to myself.

This is my worry.

Not out of the realms for them to at least get a point which gives them a lifeline.

The twist is Burnley won't beat Spurs or Villa and it'll be between them and Leeds on final day
That'd be lovely but for that to happen we still need to get 4 points before the final day.

So let's go and do it.

The frustration is, just like yesterday, the onus will be on us in the next two games to have quality with the ball. However, we'll be playing better teams than Watford. And we can't say they were up against a vociferous home crowd yesterday either.

Hope this won't come back to bite me ( famous last words ) but the last game of the season will be a who stays up battle between Leeds & Burnley - We will be safe by then. I think it will be all done and dusted for us on Sunday TBH.

It depends on other results to be fair.

If we need 4 points, then we have the home games to get them. But we could be safe on Sunday with a nil nil draw. There's a lot that could happen, and I expect a twist, but things will become much clearer on Sunday, because Leeds play their 37th match.

I can live with one of them picking up a result early on Sunday, but as long as 1 loses, I'm happy. Preferably Leeds, but not too fussed. We don't need to finish above both.

yep I just mean that the message from Lampard will certainly be, for now, we need 4 points.

If Leeds lose, of course, it all changes.
