That might well be true, but it's also a terrible mentality in any line of work. If you don't take any pride in your own work then what's the point.

17 games, and we've already lost to two of the only teams we beat at the start of the season. I can't see us getting anything against the top 6/8 in the run in and we're already starting to run out of teams to play from the bottom half.

The only teams we've picked up points from since October are United, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal.

The run in means nothing. We have 17 games - 45% of a season, so of course we play the better sides. But so does everyone else too.

Need to stop worrying about fixtures and worry about the next game. We shouldn't be writing off any home game for a start, no matter who it's against.

We need to be safe before our last 5 fixtures because Brentford is only one where we can get points. This is worrying thing for me. We've needed to start picking up points already.

It's all about our home form now, if we can play like we did Vs Brentford last week for every home game we'll get a few wins.

I hope we stay up so Frank has a chance to build his own squad, and by that I mean clear this squad almost completely before we do go down

Can only hope that turns around. We’ve had our worst form all season, some of them have had their best form. You’d like to think at some point we’ll hit a run of a couple of wins or draws whilst they get a few injuries and maybe lose a few. That’s the hope anyway.

Well yeah, but that wasn't real football. I don't think we have any chance in a full stadium. Our players are too fragile to cope with the pressure. It's the only game of the 17 left where I think we have next to no chance of even a point.

My point still is that we shouldn't be writing games off. Any game is winnable or loseable, even the really tough ones like City home, Spurs away etc.
