Watford just pulled our pants down 5 2 at home. Newcastle will strengthen. Burnley always improve. Leeds and Southampton are at least on par with this shower. Norwich maybe but even they play better football than us. No way this squad is getting 25 points from now till the end of the season.

Every year this happens and every year we end up nowhere near the relegation fight.

Probably only 1 or 2 of those games we’d go into as favourites. Can’t see us picking up more than 5-7 out of a possible 24.

That’s bottom half form, it’s not relegation form.

5-7 points from 8 games is absolutely relegation form..

But remember we are having to use our squad right now. That squad is terrible. However if we get the first team players back from injury we are far too good to go down.

The more it goes on though the more I see Benitez as a yes man appointment. Which will only see us accept mediocrity.

It seems Benitez has been appointed as the yes man the board needs to ride the wave of wasting hundreds of millions of pounds of players and managers over the past 4/5 seasons. It stinks of it.

As it stands the current team available (fit) is possibly the worst Everton team I’ve seen in 33 years. Absolutely no fight. No leaders and no identity.

Exactly what is wrong with club. Too many people are used to us boring our way out of relegation. I genuinely don't think we will this time. We are truly terrible. We are easily in the worst 3 teams in this league.
