Wolves (H)
Newcastle (H)
Watford (A)

those are the three games that will define our season in the prem league imo

win all 3 and we should be comfortably safe with 31 points from 28 games if we get nothing from city at home and spurs away
Steady on. Lets just try and win any game first? A draw?

Watford game gets moved if we beat Boreham Wood. Might not be played till May.

Every home game is a big game, and the Burnley away game will be big too.

Yeah, that’s not comfortably safe.
If we win them 3 and we're sitting on 31pts with 10 games left, and have stopped them from taking any pts, then we will be realistically nearly there.
That will give us 10 games to get 4 or 5pts to survive.
If we cant get that on the run in then we dont deserve to be in the PL

Tbh mate, from what I've seen so far of this season, I'm not sure we do deserve to be in the "premier" of anything. Even the "championship" sounds too good for what we're dishing up.

Games against the other clubs down near the bottom are obviously important, but ‘bonus’ points against trickier opposition can be vital in the run in. Not only is this arithmetically useful, it also takes the edge off apparent six-pointers.

Yeah, that’s not comfortably safe.
last season the 3 teams that got relegated had 28 points, 26 points and 23 points

the season before that the 3 teams that got relegated had 34 points, 34 points and 21 points

the season before that the 3 teams that got relegated had 34 points, 26 points and 16 points

the average over the past 3 seasons to get relegated is therefore 32 points

if we beat wolves and newcastle at home then we go into that third game with some momentum and confidence, i believe it won't be watford anymore if we beat borehamwood but if we could go on a little streak of 3 wins then it puts us in a good position with probably only needing a couple more points from 10 games to survive relegation

i can't see 40 points being the magic number to stay up this season, the last time a team needed 40 points to stay up would have been the 2010-11 season

arrows pointing down on their shirts entrist londoners( alli and lampard) slugging from the gravy jug...rooney didn't want the job more like didn't want to be the man who takes them down....so used to failure news channels never even report their defeats....I GONNA PUT A TENNER ON RELEGATION...KNOWING EVERTON I'LL LOSE THE TENNER.
