Yeah we would be pretty clueless in the championship. Only one or two players and the manager have had any experience down there and even then only briefly. We as fans would probably not know what to do when we are not battering Rotherham etc away from home after ten minutes etc as we are not used to it.

It would be a disaster for the club.

Being a staple of top flight football is one of the only things we have got to cling on to right now.

Our record against non PL teams in Cup competitions is lamentable. We would be like Little Lord Faultenroy finding himself stranded in the middle of a sink council estate and trying to navigate himself out safely. We'd be easy pickings.

I can see Leeds winning tonight. Villa aren't all that great. We could defeat them if we had them again. Watford is pretty dodgy. I don't know what to make with them under Hodgson.

We need Villa to take points off Leeds and keep them down there in the abyss with us, but most of all this weekend we need Brentford to beat Burnley.

Agreed, but it only takes one win to spark a team off. We can’t afford any of the bottom three suddenly getting on a three game unbeaten run with a few wins for example. The sooner the three are confirmed the better.
