We had a honeymoon period at the start of the season with a manager that few really wanted.
But the same dross of players remained from last season
It was only going to be a matter of time before the underlying weakness of our squad resurfaced
It was inevitable. I knew that a couple of months ago. That's why I had to rebalanced my emotions with the fear of relegation so I had a bet on us to go down at 125/1. Don't vault me for betting against us. You just can't ignore a gift horse when you see one.
Of course I don't want us to go down.
I'm going to cashout the bet soon.
But I still fear the worse unless current players show some courage.
My point is it was obvious even to an idiot like me that our squad wasn't good enough whoever the manager was. The irony is that if we were looking to recruit a manager to keep us up then the FSW would be on the list
I await the middle finger with expectation
Ps if you want a tip then rock bottom at 100/1 looks interesting.....

Realistically how many points are we getting out the next 4? 4 points would be great.

Id say we beat ONE of Arsenal/Palace.

Loss to Chelsea is nailed on.

Draw with Leicester seems about right, doesn’t it?

Then the 4 games after that are massive
Burnley (a)
Newcastle (h)
Brighton (h)
Norwich (a)

I’d be expecting 10 points out of those minimum.

So that’s possibly us on 29 points by 15th Jan and we would probably end the season well with players coming back so we would end up about mid table. Give the manager money to spend in the summer and get rid of the deadwood and we expect to kick on next season!

All of Norwich, Watford, Brentford and Leeds will finish below us, but that's not something to be celebrated. As/if/when we are safe this season, we need to stop buying players closer to the 30 than 25, stop changing managers who bring in their pets from other previous clubs who are all old and on gargantuan wages and look to a proper structure, focus and plan.
We need a younger manager with ambition and younger players with the same attitude.
We've become a rest home and a pension plan for footballers and managers happy to phone it in and coast into dwindling expectations and retirement.
I'd rather struggle making mistakes with youth on the way up than struggle and get exasperated with people on the wage bill who don't care.

We're seriously in trouble if our bad form continues going into them 4 fixtures, especially as we could easily be in the bottom 3 going into them fixtures.

It’s scary mate.

The players and manager need to get their heads down and figure out a way to get some points out of Arsenal, Leicester and CP. As I previously mentioned, the Chelsea match is a complete write off.

Leeds just gone above us with an injury time equaliser. Relegation places edge closer.
But at least it keeps Brentford in touching distance
What has it come to? Worrying on a Sunday afternoon before Xmas about how other lower half clubs are doing?...
Let's hope Leicester beat Villa
And then at least we can relax tomorrow as the others aren't playing. We can't go any lower tomorrow
It's a win win day
The only way is up...baby
