Them so called players don't deserve our worry, they really don't. I remember 2012 donegal won the Sam, we left work early because the team were going through Mountcharles with the cup. Got prime spot to see them.

I honestly don't think anyone at the club thinks they're in a relegation battle
Oh they know it alright. It's just they don't care

It isn’t.

The majority of people who didn’t want him sacked weren’t saying so because they were in love with him. It was largely (particularly towards the end of his tenure) that there were no obvious better alternatives.

I’ve seen a few shouts on here in recent weeks to sack Lampard and get a manager in who has proven form in a relegation battle. Which is ironic.

Benitez has a 100% record of losing relegation battles, 1/1 relegated.

Wednesday is quite simply must win. We have a much tougher run in than Burnley.

Everton avg position of teams to play: 8th
Burnley avg position of teams to play: 12th

Burnley have us then Norwich at the weekend.

Oh agreed, individual mistakes stopped us from getting anything.

But it was never a game that we marked as one we’d win. Disappointed to not get a point but it’s the home games that will keep us up. I hope.
Home games and Burnley and Watford

Burnley is massive. A win and we're in a very good position. A loss and I think we'll go down. A draw and I have no idea.

If I detach myself it does fascinate me how the club would deal with relegation - so much of it must be built on near guaranteed PL status. Surely you'd have to sell every PL-worthy player (well, maybe somebody else would think they were), run down whatever contracts just to manage your wage bill - otherwise it would be completely out of proportion to income.

The run it doesn’t look great - but in all honesty it’s only the Derby and Arsenal away that I really don’t expect us to have a chance of getting anything.

All the other games - including United and Chelsea at home we should go into thinking we can get something.

This vid touches on it a little, its a very scary watch.

As they say, we have some players with relegation clauses, some without, its ok saying "Sell everybody on high wages", but thats pretty much everybody and most of them are unsellable, they also have massive contracts.

It really would be a nail we would struggle to recover from for a long, long time.

Good luck getting promoted back up when you have a squad of players just seeing out their contracts and 36 points reduction.

I am fully resigned to us going down now I reckon. Our run in is horrendous.
