Burnley are rubbish, Watford aren’t much better.

Leicester. Palace. Brentford at home - there’s at least 7 points there.

If we can’t get get something from those two games in particular then there’s no excuses for these players and manager , we’d deserve to go down and I’d make my peace with it.

Lol palace battered us the other week

My first ever away game was Burnley away 1969/70 a massive game on the title run in. The game on Wednesday is probably a bigger game as this time we can't afford to lose.
I won't be there on Wednesday as I have just been diagnosed with Prostate cancer which is a bit of a bummer but you know what occupies my mind when I wake up at night ? Not worrying about the cancer no it's this gang of soft shites getting my team relegated.
On a happier note we won 2-1 in 1970 as I am sure you know.
Paul keep your head up mate my dad had stage 4 prostrate cancer, sixteen years kept going could of kept going longer only for covid. He was always positive and the doctor said this always keeps you going. He was going the game and everything now there is more treatments outlook for this is amazing. Keep your chin up mate thinking about you

Burnley are a much better defense than us
Watford smashed us and Utd, can put a performance in and have match winners in their squad, looking more organised lately too
Leicester will batter us, now that their defense are back together
Palace did batter us twice, we can't handle them at all
Brentford will be better if they are already safe but they smashed Chelsea at Chelsea and since the last time we scored at the Bridge, Christian Erikson scored there, moved to Italy, died, came back to life, took a break from football, moved back to England and scored there
We are a terrible, terrible team, full of terrible mediocre attitudes that were content to hang around mid table thinking it was a formality but their mediocrity has caught up with them now. Burnley know what they are and imo are favourites on Wednesday.

We should be feeling a bit better about this after this weekends results.
We didn't realistically think we could get anything at West Ham, and every team down there did worse then us, apart from Leeds, who got one point but they are only 5 points head of use with 3 games in hand.
At least we only went down by one goal, yes it sacked but no damage was really added to our plight
Hmmm

we would've been better off with eriksen the alli

It isn’t.

The majority of people who didn’t want him sacked weren’t saying so because they were in love with him. It was largely (particularly towards the end of his tenure) that there were no obvious better alternatives.

I’ve seen a few shouts on here in recent weeks to sack Lampard and get a manager in who has proven form in a relegation battle. Which is ironic.
And what in our run of one win in thirteen games convinced you he would keep us up? What in his stripping of the creativity out of the team convinced you we were staying up? Benitez was toxic.

Mate, it saddens me to say I think you are right. We need lions and we have flipping hamsters.

The only way we stay up is if the three below us are as abysmal as us in the run in. We will get very few points between now and the end of the season.

Even then, once those three are gone it’s hard to see us improving next year and difficult to guarantee the three coming up being as bad as the three going down.
