If we lose to Burnley I would agree. Desperately need a result there.

Jesus christ. I seen our run in compared to Burnley. If Burnley beat us we are gone. Heck if we draw its very likely we will be relegated. A win and it gives us a chance.

I must admit haven't been paying attention to the run ins. We are bolloxed if we lose on Wednesday.

Paul keep your head up mate my dad had stage 4 prostrate cancer, sixteen years kept going could of kept going longer only for covid. He was always positive and the doctor said this always keeps you going. He was going the game and everything now there is more treatments outlook for this is amazing. Keep your chin up mate thinking about you

The Goodison crowd roaring the quivering little rats we have for a team on to victory and making the place as evil as possible is our only hope. 4 home games, the only one you’d be confident of getting something out of is Brentford.

Burnley are a much better defense than us
Watford smashed us and Utd, can put a performance in and have match winners in their squad, looking more organised lately too
Leicester will batter us, now that their defense are back together
Palace did batter us twice, we can't handle them at all
Brentford will be better if they are already safe but they smashed Chelsea at Chelsea and since the last time we scored at the Bridge, Christian Erikson scored there, moved to Italy, died, came back to life, took a break from football, moved back to England and scored there
We are a terrible, terrible team, full of terrible mediocre attitudes that were content to hang around mid table thinking it was a formality but their mediocrity has caught up with them now. Burnley know what they are and imo are favourites on Wednesday.

All valid points. But in that case we fully deserve to go down and there’s not much point worrying about it.

We are a different team at goodison under lampard so am confident we pick up wins there.

It’s whether we can avoid defeat/beat Burnley and Watford away which is my main concern.

The thing we have to remember is, we have been awful all season really and still we aren’t in the bottom three plus have played 2/3 games less - so that suggests that Burnley and Watford are just as terrible. Popped on a Burnley forum last night and they are adamant they aren’t the team they were and are going down. All will be revealed weds night.

Said it months ago in this thread. We needed to have points on the board and distance from the relation zone by the end of March with the run in we have. Failed to do that. There's still 10 games to go so we're not dead and buried yet, but our chances of survival diminish with each game. If we beat Burnley and Watford we'll stay up. But that's a huge ask for this team.
