Request for a current affairs forum

I appreciate that this is first and foremost an Everton related football forum, however I'm sure there's enough interest in having a current affairs forum under the GOT umbrella.

Save getting the Ale House clogged up with endless political arguments subsequently deleted - a dedicated forum, I'll even offer to moderate it

Mods, owners, debt-holders etc what's the view?

My personal opinion is that we have so many different views it wouldn't work. Stick to what we came together for Everton and Pasties. Nothing else really matters does it

On that basis Mick we have no forum at all, we can't all agree on the relative merits of Moyes, Kenwright, all of the first team bar Baines and Mirellas, or indeed pineapple on pizzas or the merits of Greggs or Sayers pasties.

We may as well close GOT all together

The thing is, some drunken tit could go off on a rant labelling you as a terrorist supporter without any foundation whatsoever, despite being told to pack it in by several other posters.

And then when you show restraint by not getting involved in it you ridiculously receive a month-long 'general behaviour warning'.
