Response from the club

Question for fellow Toffees but as it's been established I was set to attend the derby flying from the states , Pittsburgh Pa for the first time in my life, the game was rightly called off due to safety concerns me and my friend spent 300 dollars for tickets each which he loaned me the money and i eventually paid him back but the tickets are non reimbursed since resale have to pick them up in person which which he might be able to do when the game is rescheduled but my financial means are a little more lacking. I sent an email to the club explaining my situation and they did not respond. If there any other channels of communication? I'm not even expecting anything at this point even a response where a basic statement of sorry about the situation but unfortunately we can't do anything regarding a gestue, the complete lack of response is vexing
As much as i hope they could do something for you mate don't get your hopes up as that opens the doors for many others in the same situation as you.

My brother flew from Denver for the game, he got to Wolves midweek, but that was flights, match tickets and an apartment for 4 nights primarily for the derby.

His mate also flew from Denver just for the derby.

Me and 2 others flew over from Belfast. No match and a 6hr overnight flight delay on the sunday coming home. Cost me a day off work too.The plane was full of blues so lots of people in the same situation there.

The last game i tried to go was Fulham a few weeks back and had a family bereavement just before i left to go to the airport.

Wonder what will happen the next game i get tickets for 🤣.

People out of pocket all over. Just one of those things we have to accept the risk for as a travelling fan.

Are you over again before we leave Goodison? You can have my season ticket free of charge for a game. But not the last one! Anyhow, how are things on East Carson St nowadays. Still plenty of bars?

That's incredibly generous thanks at this time I don't forsee myself coming back this season but who knows still very thoughtful.

Unfortunately east carson street has experienced a recent decline, while the iconic and long standing bars like the smiling moose, Dee's and pipers pub are still existing but not the idyllic bar scene like it once was even though there's still some nice shops and restaurants around , also an increase in violence too which was unheard of a decade or so ago

Shame. I remember Fat Heads being good. This was about 25 years ago. Bars as far as the Birmingham St bridge, I seem to recall. Great city, the 'Burg.

You mightn't be an Australian kid but you are an American. I'd have thought with American owners coming in the club might look at this if you can get some momentum behind it. What about contacting someone like Giulia Bould at Radio Merseyside.
Rich Americans eat other Americans for a dollar. I wouldn't be too hopeful on it but having said that it wouldn't hurt to play the PR card. Worth a shot for sure

Right, I’ve spoken to my mate Clive who works in the customer services department, he’s gonna sort you out.

Email address is - customerservices@evertondirect.evertonfc.com - put ‘FAO Clive’ as the subject.

Make sure to attach a high resolution photograph of your genitalia to the email. Apparently it won’t work without this for some reason.

Explain your predicament and he should be able to help.
Clive Woodward?
