….the fact you adore Michael Keane & worshipped Benitez is not a ringing endorsement of Mykolenko. Your point does not take in the bigger picture & could actually be a big indicator of the demise.

Mykolenko might be a decent long-term acquisition but Digne was a popular member of the team & a key contributor to Richarlison and DCL goal output. His fall out with Benitez caused dressing room division, it was a part of the Perfect Storm Benitez caused.

We’d have had a chance of repairing the situation had Benitez gone earlier & Digne stayed. I like Mykolenko but he didn’t have the immediate impact we needed, he was awful in the Norwich defeat & struggled to settle (for various reasons).

To say this change was the ‘highlight of the window’ is an endorsement of a piece of the relegation jigsaw.

Sigurdsson is a big miss for sure, oddly enough some fan's didn't rate him too, bizzare really.

Said at the time I didn't see the point in Lampard and we may as well have just given it to Dunc as I had no faith in Lampard keeping us up.

End of the day we needed better than Lampard and Dunc.

I don't rate him myself really but he wasn't completely useless either. He would be better than nothing especially after binning off your other two creative outlets.

Said this for months. When dom is fit he won't be the same striker because we simply don't have the quality in service for him.
