We allowed him to prioritise Brazil at the drop of a hat. Never dropped him , played him were he wanted, treated him like a sultan. I don't get why he has to come out and throw haymakers
Yes and the Olympics was priority over us thats what im saying. He's developed tremendously under us whilst becoming a multi millionaire, Brazils number 9 and our best player. He went on international duty the same way all our other internationals did. The one time it was a little different was going to the Olympics during pre-season but that didn’t affect his performance.
I don’t really agree with this. We signed him, we paid him, he played fairly well, he got his step up. The way our fans treated him or looked up to him wasn’t his doing was it.
I don't see richy ever escoring a hat trick in 90 minutes let alone in 30...clearly a good squad player to have around to cover injuries and rotation...but if spurs has to play a big final tomorrow and all are fit, richy is not starting for them. There will probably be days when the reverse happens. There's an argument that Conte is smart enough to do things like put the "wrong" option on the day on the pitch to start, then insert the "correct" option to exploit the opponents' weaknesses once they tire to administer the coup de grace.
Very few clubs are 'guaranteed' trophies these days, you could count them on one hand. None of them came in for him this summer but they'll notice him if he's performing in the champs league for instance. I can see him staying at spurs for a few years and if we don't win trophies he'll have to be good enough to warrant a move to one of those few clubs. He's not that level yet but he soon could be.And what have Spurs won? If he wanted trophies then he gone to the wrong club.
Is it any different than what we have said here over the last several years? Did a club who pulled Rafael Benitez out of cold storage have ambition?Apparently we lack ambition, that's why he joined spurs.
Can we stop the hero worship now
I think he is a very smart guy and he understands his workplace quite well.Dont think Richy understands the difference between lacking ambishun and being hamstrung by a corrupt system known as FFP.
A large percentage of 91 of 92 club fans in think that they should be higher in the league.I'm happy Richarlison has said that and the fact he has left us to go to a another club that doesn't win anything tells us how far we have fallen.
That's all down the current leadership, the sooner people realize this the better.
Bill and co have us 'dreaming of qualifying for Europe' WTF is that all about?
Everton FC should never think finishing 5th-6th as an achievement, Never!
We should always be planning to be the best and putting the best people in positions that will get us there or employ people who want to be the best and are not just jumping on the gravy train.A large percentage of 91 of 92 club fans in think that they should be higher in the league.
You explain to me how we should win league when we don’t have the money for transfers and wages that bigger teams do?
We have fallen. The key time was 1989-2002. We lost touch of the big money, became also rans and will never attract the serious billionaire owners because of the size of our global fan base and the size of the city.
In fairness, this stadium may be the step in the right direction to a long term turn around in fortunes, but I doubt it.
You think real life is like Disney story mate.We should always be planning to be the best and putting the best people in positions that will get us there or employ people who want to be the best and are not just jumping on the gravy train.
That doesnt always involve just the players and manager it involves everyone from scouts recruitment DoF Chairman CEO.
For far too long we have had people driving the club the wrong way, giving jobs and contracts out based on sentiment and this is why we are where we are today. We have become a stepping stone club, just look around the threads some are already saying we are going to lose the likes of Patterson and Onana because of how good they will be in the next 18 months or so.
We have the chairman that thinks we've had 'good times' that's speaks volumes of what ambition this club has. His aim has always been stay in the PL and cream the money each year! Thats why Moyes stayed in a job here for 11 years after winning absolutely nothing, because he knew he was a safe bet in retaining our PL status. So until the likes of him get volleyed from the club then our ambitions will be set low, very low for this club and its supporters and qualifying for Europe will be a 'success'
I feel duty-bound to point out that whales aren't fish. You think real life is like Disney story mate.
It’s all about money, marketing opportunities. We are not a global brand, we are not a tourist attraction. We do not begin to compare with the top teams in terms of salaries and transfer fees.
We talk about people leaving because realistically, If you are a top class player you want to challenge for titles and play champions league football.
Unfortunately, that’s real life. Football has become a cycle that bigger fish eat littler fish and it hard to stop being a the type of fish are now. We are tuna, pretty sizeable but we are in waters with sharks and whales
Depends on how you define a fish. Tuna are more closely related to a whale than they are a shark.I feel duty-bound to point out that whales aren't fish.
Why would he care?Dont think Richy understands the difference between lacking ambishun and being hamstrung by a corrupt system known as FFP.
