Yes he has been poor the last couple months and hasn't looked half the player he was in his first few months here but only Mbappe and Jovic (two freaks) above him there for goals scored this season

That Brooks from Bournemouth would g be the worst addition in the summer.

dives too much and has a face like a slapped arse, sell!

:bye:

He has had a bad couple of games.
However for his age , and experience , he has the potential to be absolutely top class..
Remember , he is playing in a team that is struggling generally , and in a new position . Folks need to get off his back and give him some time.
He will be sound.

Needs to right the ship this game. Bewildered what is going on in his thoughts lately. Seems too sulky.

He isn't a winger.

I don't get why people want him out left because he simply doesn't create from there.

Teams are putting 2-3 players on him and he's picking up the ball far too wide.

That means he gets frustrated, drops deep to get on the ball and then because he plays with a lot of risk, tends to give the ball away more than he should.

He needs to be closer to goal. The best way to achieve that is play a proper three up top, but unfortunately we don't currently have the quality of player in other positions to be able to play that system effectively. Also, Gylfi offers our most potent attacking threat, whether people rate him or not or whether he's consistent enough is irrelevant, he still offers our best attacking/creative player, so he's in, which means it's a 4-2-3-1 because it doesn't seem Silva wants to play Gylfi in a flat three (or Gylfi can't play there).

He's 21, and lately hasn't been playing well. But he's had a good debut season for us and is only going to get better. A lot of improvements to be made, sure, but it's just part of the frustration that comes with a young player with bags of ability but perhaps not yet the composure when it matters.
