His diving is annoying but honestly it winds scumbags such as spitty up that I actually enjoy it now.

One of the things that irks me is that he doesn't really dive per se that often. He often has someone do something to him but he goes down like he's shot. Which doesn't do him any favors like he was hacked down at the beginning yesterday and there was no call at all.

Most of the time, like 90%+ I would venture, there is SOME sort of foul on him but he exaggerates it so much.

It's like the penalty thing isn't it, You don't usually get it unless you fall on the floor, Richarlison never gets any protection from the refs so he probably feels he has to at times, He does exaggerate other times too but teams know he's the danger man so they boot him all game.

I suppose diving is wrong word as he does get booted everywhere its his theatrics and also the media calling him a diver makes ref just ignore him when sometimes he has been brought down.

Worth noting that before this season Richy had never scored outside the box for us at all - this season he's scored outside the box twice (albeit both goals were a bit fortuitous in nature). Would like to see him develop that aspect of his game a bit more

His diving is an issue, but on his day he’s our best player. Got a bit depressed during the poor run as richy wanted to go in the summer in search of CL, we must match his ambition. Gripes, he starts for Brazil!!!!

Richarlison is our most important player by some distance. As well as Iwobi has been doing the last few games, before that our only outlet was Richarlison, he dictates the press, wins the ball back more than almost forwards in Europe and wins loads of fouls to ease the pressure on the defence.

I love that he’s a snide, we’ve been calling out for players like that for years. The issue IMO is that the media are on at him now, even though there are plenty of other players in the league that do the same thing (Kane, Salah, Mane, Zaha being a few examples).

Our fans are listening to the media too much and using it as a way to explain why Richarlison hasn’t scored for a few games.

What it comes down to is that our team is much stronger with him in it, that should be the defining decision on whether he’s a good player for us or not.

This, really. He get's lumps kicked out of him nearly every game but gets very little protection from refs. I would agree that there is a perception amongst many here and in the punditry class that he does dive, but with respect to the former category I cordially disagree and the latter can shove off. Anyway, he's brilliant for us. Talent matched with ferocity and more than a little bit of snide. More please! Cheers to all you wonderful Blues!
