giving credit to him as being an important player who often made the difference, I've never liked him in the first place, when first came he was showing some diving (bugs me no matter what the team is) and all that whining stuff and malcontent mentality.
today was a bad day, hopefully, there would be a good one for him and the team, though he does need to work on his mental qualities

He was poor tonight, but he definitely wasn’t the only one, I’m not sure what the forwards were supposed to do tonight when the crabs in CM kept passing the ball sideways and backwards or holding on to it too long.

Let’s see how he performs when the better players come back in to the team.

He was one of our better players during the run when we won 7 in a row, we missed him desperately when he came out of the side through suspension, since then he hasn’t played as well as he can yet we still won matches with him in the team.

We are quick to turn on the good ones through fear of losing them, same happened with Rom.

Love Richarlison, but, he was poor tonight, he is struggling without Digne running past him and giving him the choice whether to play Digne down the touchline or cut inside. At the moment he is too isolated and lacks options.

I think it’s safe to say he assumes he is off at the end of the season and that appears to be affecting his form. Very worrying.

He'd be a big loss but with Richarlison I always wonder, who's going to be prepared to pay the £80m+ we should be demanding?

Don’t like his sulky attitude or the rolling around exaggerating fouls. Got the potential to be a superb player long term however I get the impression he can’t be bothered here and knows a move away isn’t far long.

I don't think it is slackness. He's just legit bad at it. I think he understands that he shouldn't do it but is unable to really figure it out.

Bernard plays with Digne and they look good. Digne falls out of form and Bernard looks bad.

Digne links up with Richarlison and they look good. Digne gets hurt and Richarlison looks bad.

Obviously not the same scenario since Richarlison looked strong playing through the center, but it seems clear that Digne makes left wingers better.

He’s been bad all year. From not performing to getting a horrible red card. The fact that he gets a pass is weird.

Smacks of recency bias; he had horrible game against West Ham, but he’s easily been one of our most creative players this season. His season so far has unfortunately been a case of, missing chances he would usually snatch and that red card.

Outside of those 2 things (and yesterday’s match), I think he’s been really good.

He has been poor this season. He is not managing to beat people and gives the ball away frequently. However, he does put in a shift winning the ball back and even at his current level, we miss him if he is not playing.

He is definitely better when playing with Digne. He is also being hampered by our current slow build up play which means he is always up against two defenders. He needs to be given the ball early with space to run into To do the damage.

Should have been pushed up front for a bit yesterday, bringing Tosun just flushed the game for us. If brands is dictating Carlo to play utter carcasses like Tosun then I want brands gone
