It really is. He doesn't retain possession, is kn his arse the majority of games, misses golden opportunities.

Honestly, how long do we say that type of performance is acceptable. Is he undroppable? He shouldn't be and his position in the first 11 should now be under threat.

I'd be made up if he has a stormer against Newcastle and scores a couple but its not like any post can be vaulted "told you he'd come good", he's been that dreadful and just like Pickford last night cost us at the back, this fellas contribution us stifling us up top

he had a couple of good performances at the start of the season, prior to that he was terrible end of last season and been terrible for majority of this season,

Opinions. i think he is affected quite badly by this pandemic it's bad back in Brazil. He feeds off crowds, he loves us chanting his name etc. He'll be back.

I'd take him out for Iwobi against Newcastle. It's an utter disgrace that that is literally the only option we have, and the season is only halfway through. We're on a road to nowhere with this squad, it'll come unstuck before too long. Plus, come the summer, if he's still thinking he's too good, get him sold.

Again though, Digne has created multiple chances while playing left mid the last two league games. He put two chances on a plate for our attacking players last night. Moving a side which is working (certainly defensively) around to accommodate a player who’s not cutting it at the moment isn’t the answer. It’s not even a certain that he will miraculously rediscover how to do his basics right if Digne was behind him again. What example does that set to the rest of the lads? Sorry Godfrey I know you’ve been our best player for 3 months straight but Richy can’t do the basics at the moment so we are dropping you so we can play him in front of Digne? Doesn’t sit right with me.

I’m not disagreeing, Godfrey’s played well, Ritchie’s been poor. Just think for the Newcastle game the onus is going to be on us to attack and break them down. For all Godfrey’s played great, sure he’d accept himself that attacking is not his strong point. For the Newcastle game i’d go Digne and Ritchie down the left.

During the Leicester City game, I felt that Richarlison put a lot of hard work and effort into tracking back and making vital blocks/tackles etc. Going forward though, he looked well out of sorts and little to no threat to the opposition. Not sure what's going on with him, maybe he's thinking too much and trying too hard to impress or something.

Thought it was a bit weird the way Richarlison fell to his knees and started punching the ground in frustration at the final whistle. I've seen him do that type of thing a couple of times now, and it comes across looking more for show than anything else.

Works hard but when he gets possession of the ball its often a heavy touch, losses it on the dribble and doesn't look to make a pass. It's been really bad lately. Several games where I thought he would just dribble past some of these defenders but failed to do so. Needs confidence again or something

I get the same feeling you know. First DCL, now Rodriguez. Which is a problem, no ones bigger than EFC and we can’t pander to individual egos. Love the kid but he’s becoming an issue.

Yup, he's fully in the shadow of not only James but DCL too. And not only that, all the fans are giving Allan and Doucoure all the attention and praise, and Godfrey is being showered with our praise too. Me thinks spoiled brat Richi has spat his dummy out.

Awful last night 100 percent effort too got into players way many times including DCLs & Davies - falls over with a blink of the eye too - the header he missed from a corner near the end was as bad as DCLs header imo , but both of them starved of service all night......

So where is his dream move gonna be? Wigan? If he's struggling in the shadow here then he'll be a disaster at a Barca type team.
