Another weekend of removing utter bulbs from my social media. 2 down and everyone is sh1te...seen alot “i dont care what anyone says, but *insert any player* is rubbish” types....

You can only judge a player on performances. On that criteria, he's having a sub-Pickford season. I realise he cost a lot of money - so did Jordan. The club needs both to perform. Right now, the harsh truth is that Richarlison is - like Pickord - not worth his place in a side with European pretensions. Like Pickford, he'll probably be a mainstay in the team simply because we have so few alternative options to playing them.

And maybe we miss the stuff he does well when he's not there.

Maybe, just maybe we win that game yesterday if Pickford had played

Nah, he's playing in the same style now as he always did. Just at the moment, everything is either too heavy, or too light - his touch is off.

I'm worried about his form but I see no ulterior motive for it. He's just in poor form. But, I'm sure it'll come back again.

But people having a dig at the lad today in the first half when for the first 30 mins he was the only player trying to threaten shows just what a fickle bunch we are.

The tone is set now, Evertonians and super Bloos on their TV channels will say we should cash in. And it's why we'll never go anywhere. Good players go through bad patches of form, but come back from them.

Off the ball, his work rate is there. On the ball, it seems he's always trying too hard to make something happen. But he's a key player in our side, in our squad, and will be going forward.

He turns 24 in May, he's younger than DCL.

You can tell Dunc loves DCL and it’s no secret that he has spent a lot of time training with him. I just wonder if Richi is feeling a bit unloved. Seems to either try too hard or be in a sulk.

I dunno, just really weird that nothing at all is clicking for him this year.

Continues to work hard and be a threat but things just aren't going for him at the moment.
He will return to form and then him and DCL will be a massive threat for ANY team.

Wouldnt be suprised if the pandemic is affecting him. Hasn't Brazil been hit pretty bad?

Although he was really good at the start of the season up until that red card in the derby.

Hopefully just a mixture of lockdown + the dark/cold weather getting him down needs a big game to get his confidence up - a winning goal against Citeh or the RS would be brilliant.

Always an asset to the team with his work rate and if he scores five or six goals in the rest of the season all well and good,let's face it,if he'd scored fifteen by now he wouldn't be here next season.

Its noticable Richy's had a few runs of poor form after a good start to the season , same at Watford tbh.

As long as he keeps working like the last 2 games there should be no worries , just a matter of time before he starts bagging again.
He'll be just fine.

Anyone feeling he sulks too much or has the wrong attitude just look. This is how he really feels, he doesn’t have to put anything on his social media, plenty of players don’t, let alone his old videos where he’s singing our song for him etc.

He’s been awful recently but he’s never stopped working his socks off. He’ll come good again.

As poor as he’s been going forward, his work rate in defence is unquestionable.
