I still like him. He's of a quality we need around the squad.
Just isnt cutting it at the moment. Teams need their so called big uns to turn up in games. He isnt.
He was far and away our best player in his first two seasons here.
His form has been sorely lacking this term but his workrate for the most part has been fine.
I am finding it tiresome that he hits the opposition's shins every time he trys to dribble, so frustrating. Sadly his finishing has cost us this season also.
It's a shame we don't have someone to push him for his place because he could've done with being 'rested' a few times this season. But you could say that though the squad.
As bad as he is playing, I would back him all day long to be much better next year.
He has a lite bit of growing up still to do. This is a bad spell for him and he is feeling the pressure. Once he comes out of this he will be a better player. Unfortunately it's probably going to come too late to get us into Europe.
Once again the pieces just didn't fall into place for Richarlison, who I really felt should have netted two for us against Tottenham (but that's the difference between top strikers like Kane, and wannabe strikers). Plenty of running and closing down, but his finishing was weak or off-target, and his passes fell short on a few occasions. Sadly it's not turned out to be the best of seasons for the lad.
