2020/21 Richarlison

....one is a regular for Brazil, the other plays for England. I think they are both terrific, I have confidence in both & I’m quite happy going forward with Richarlison & DCL.

We do need an effective back-up, though.

I think we need a little more than a backup. As with Pickford, I think we need someone where the threat of rotating them when in poor form is credible.

Competition for places is healthy.

Needs to really knuckle down in the summer and realise every single part of his game needs to improve if he wants to be a top player.

Out of form and has played his way out of a big move but I'm not too bothered, I'm hopeful he will be here next season. Still a huge asset.

Maybe his whole idea that he'd move on at the end of the season to a bigger club (which he will know now isn't happening) has been hanging over his head. In previous years, he'd be taking these chances more often than not, but his composure has been off for most of the season.

I do still think he has it in him to move up a gear, though, and maybe if the rest of the team can play in a more consistent way he'll get enough chances to stop snatching at them.

His finishing in the last few games has been terrible.

He puts in a shift but really has to improve if we are going to achieve anything.

If he wants to be shortlisted for the Ballon d'Or, yeah, that's fair.

He's been around long enough, and played an important enough role, that it's easy to forget that de Bruyne was his age before really switching on.

Other than the bad giveaways, I don't think he's that far off. He just needs to get the mental side nailed on consistently.

I'm afraid I don't share your confidence, but hope to be proven wrong. Playing for Brazil, or international football as a whole, is no longer a seal of quality when judging a player. When we are getting offers we cannot refuse from top four clubs and European giants, then we'll know Richarlison is of the requisite quality. Fred was a regular for Brazil in recent years.

....I don’t mind Fred, he’s been integral for United lately.

The major issue is quality strikers are so hard to come by. If we cash in on our two, then we have a major struggle to acquire even comparable alternatives.

My benchmark: there isn’t a CB in the league that relishes playing against DCL and/or Richarlison. There isn’t an opposition Manager in this league that doesn’t highly rate both & most would love to have them.

i find it difficult to believe some posters want to move them on. i think it would be a case of not believing how good they were until they’ve gone.

Does so much right, just not really getting the rewards this season. Also had a tough old job to be our only outlet for large parts of this season.

Get him and King playing together, relieve him of some of the work, not surprising when a player isn't coolly finishing chances after doing all the graft of a front 2/3.

Great player and in double figures for the 3rd season in a row .but I'd like the lad to say on his feet more.his like bambi on ice at times.

Cracking player richarlison with still a lot of unrealised potential- watching Kane last night shows what having a truly world class striker looks like - two sniffs, two goals - never in doubt.

Whilst I don’t see richarlison hitting those sort of levels I do think he get into the late teens in a good season supporting the main striker
