This lad is probably the biggest disappointment of the season for me. Since the red card in the derby in October he's only really come alive for one game since then, the Anfield derby.

Yep, his market value will have dropped massively this season.
Clubs know they would be paying a lot of money for a gamble and the potential, rather that the finished article so probably better value elsewhere.

I wouldn't sell either because as you say he's massively out of form and he'll be at his lowest value.

Think he thrives on the crowd, he'll be back to his best next season

The excuses made for this guy are staggering. He offers nothing nowadays apart from being far too greedy on the ball or running directly into a defender.

Needs to improve about 150% next season at a minimum.

I said weeks ago that he looks as if he is playing for a move ,what we get for him won't concern him and he said last summer he would give Carlo another season ,so watch this space. I just hope that the last season wasn't the one he was talking about because he really hasn't turned up .May be his nose is out of joint now James takes the limelight .Big fish ,small pond and all that .

We know what Richy can do, as he has done it consistently for us up until this year, so the ability is there to perform in this league for us.
Whatevers wrong this year, and its obvious there's something, whether that's a lack of confidence/unhappy with Dom getting all the credit/the system where he's more a defensive left midfielder, whatever it is needs adressed over the summer.
We would lose money on him atm so we shouldnt even entertain the talk of him going elsewhere.
When we build a better team all round and he and Dom arent playing off scraps i see him getting back to his best.

It's a measure of our strength in depth how the lad gets to play every week, no top 6 side would put up with such performances week in week out, he'd have been benched and made to earn a place on merit. No doubting his hidden brilliance but recently he's looked like the kid who's picked last in the Sunday football kick about in the park. Players performances must suffer when they have no competition or fear of being dropped.
